Yeah :)

Instead Superman would probably make a deranged incoherent speech and they would wander off confused and sad :csad:

Haha, Bizzaro needs to think about the error of his ways.

livewire was acting like a crazy wench and superman stopped her by getting her new clothes. thats how you tone down the crazy chicks. new clothes.

Moral of the story

Hahaha I might check that issue out then

Did Superman do one of his crazy monologues

I just got to reading Superman #711 and I actually liked this issue. It was cool seeing Superman having a display for his various costumes in the Fortress of Solitude and it was a cool use of the Superman Blue suit.

That sounds like kind of a fun idea :)

Wasn't a fan of the blue costume though I prefer the classic look

I loved how Morrison used the blue costume/powers in JLA during Zauriel's introductory arc. Everything else with it I could take or leave. Not terrible, really, since everyone knew it wouldn't be permanent, but it wasn't anything special.

Personally I loved the Superman Blue story arc how ever I hated when they split into blue and red but the blue story arc was nice. I would have loved for it to have been a little longer sort of like the Cap as Bucky type of thing. Before having him go back to normal.

I just loved that Superman's new powers introduced a lot of self-doubt into Clark, as opposed to his usual, supremely confident self. The Morrison JLA arc I mentioned sums it up perfectly: Clark starts out wondering whether he can still live up to people's expectations now that he's learning how to use entirely new powers. Cut to an issue later and either Wally or Kyle (can't remember which) points out that the guy who was just wondering if he could live up to his own myth has now dived head-first into wrestling a bona fide angel without a second thought. :D

I love that part he wrestles an angle then lifts the moon.

Morrison should be be writing this series, he get's the character like no one else and has a clear love for the character. plus big blue could use a jolt in the arm.

That'd create kind of a weird tier system for DC's characters. Morrison on the two top-tier characters, Johns on a slew of the second-tiers (GL, Flash, probably Aquaman), and then the rest scattered amongst the other writers in a blood-soaked feeding frenzy. :awesome:

Morrison's JLA comic books were fun on a bun and the way he writes Superman is amazing

All Star Superman is surely one of the best Superman stories ever

I would be curious to see what kind of Superman variant on his epic, long-term Batman storyline he could come up with. Superman inspires heroes of the past, present, and future and reorganizes them into a time-spanning unstoppable juggernaut of heroic badassitude! :hehe:

I cannot express in words how much I love All Star Superman, so I'll try with smileys:applaud:hrt::awesome:

I lent my friend the DVD of the movie adaptation and he loved it. I think I'm gonna see if I can interest him in the comic whenever I pick up the Absolute edition.

Yeah that was the gateway drug i used to get my Gf into comics, the only problem is that she wont read anything other than Grant Morrison, which oddly enough is a little disturbing

All Star Superman was what made my girlfriend a Superman fangirl

She is now determined to get me to cosplay as the Lois Lane SuperWoman for her :hehe:

Don't get her to dress as The Question. Unless you don't like the shape of her nose... Or your wall.
