I've not been against Chris Roberson's run. He got a crap job handed to him for Superman and has done a pretty good job with it. I would have liked him to be able to have written his own run.

I think he could have done a good job if he wasn't writing JMS' story. His writing just doesn't mesh with JMS' ideas. Only JMS could have done a good job with that. But I think he could have done a competent job with Superman if given the opportunity.

Would be neat if Cornell wrote Superman and Action Comics

JMS manifestly did a pretty much terrible job with his ideas :/

I don't think that we're going to see Geoff Johns and Jim Lee take on Superman. They've both done Superman individually in the past and it would be better to have them take on a much bigger scale project.

That said, I do think that we're getting a new creative direction for Superman, I'm really hoping that the keys to Superman are given to Paul Cornell. I am also starting to think that Dark Knight: Boy Wonder isn't going to happen with Jim Lee.

I didn't enjoy Johns writing Superman at all but as long as Cornell still writes Action Comics it wont bother me if Johns writes Superman

And I hated how he wrote the Legion of Superheroes. I think Paul Levitz is far better at writing them and i am very glad he is writing that comic book now

Hope that he stays as the writer for a long time
