Often, but not exclusively. I would characterize Captain America as old-fashioned because he'd rather sit at home with his girlfriend and work on a puzzle rather than get high and go to a rave or whatever, but he's still extremely open-minded. I tend to think of Superman the same way. I mean, think about it: If Superman encounters a gay person, I think he'd basically be like, "Oh, you're gay? That's cool. I'm literally from another planet, but my parents taught me I could be accepted and loved just like anyone else." Superman cares not for race, creed, sexuality, or what-have-you. He loves you regardless. Almost... messianic of him, don't you think? ;)

Except gingers...Superman hates gingers. Why do you think he burnt down Lex Luthor's house and makes Jimmy Olson marry gorillas?

That would only make sense if Superman landed in England, which he clearly did not. I mean, he bones a redhead in high school, for crying out loud! Lex and Jimmy being redheads is pure coincidence, and anyone who says different is a filthy, redheaded liar! :argh:

He only hung around Lana because he was very lightly using his heat vision to slowly sever her spinal chord a tiny bit at a time until she got Barbara'd.

Because they both constantly try to kill him and expose his secret identity

Also Jimmy travelled back in time to Krypton once and never once bothered to try and warn Jor El about the future

Yep that is how he should be written

Like an ass kicking super Jesus

And his mom was a redhead according to Smallville

sooo........Superman loves all humans, except redheads??

at least Supergirl is consistent and hates all humans..........:o:oldrazz:

I'm thinking, based on the solicitation, that Supergirl may just be cold and alien toward humans. You know, the typical "alien comes to Earth with superiority complex" schtick that Kal got to skip because he arrived as a baby. Probably her first major character arc will be learning to love humans the way Kal does.

I sure hope so......

I've been trolling the interwebs for Superman costume designs and it's really mind-boggling how many decent-looking modernizations there are that are like a thousand times better than the clunky armored costume we're getting for the relaunch...

Majority of the fans version of DC costumes is better than what DC actually did.

Maybe it'll turn out that that's not the final version of his costume.

Come to think of it, I wonder if we'll see all of the historical Superman costume variations as costumes Clark has worn over the years, since he'll apparently be around for the entirety of superherodom on the new DC world. That'd be kind of cool.

So she is like a blonde pantsless Mr Spock

Lex originally had brown hair, it was Alexei Luthor of Earth-Two that was redheaded.

And redheads rule. Been married to one for 16 years now. She doesn't even hate me for teaching her all the different kinds of Kryptonite.

Also, it makes me wonder if Clark will be wearing glasses and if he would still be going by Clark Kent and would they kill off Martha instead of Jonathan this stuff is making me paranoid!

Martha died first in the pre-crisis continuity actually, but Jonathan died shortly after. The death of the Kents isn't much of a constant in the mythos. Sometimes they die before Clark becomes Superman, sometimes only one of them dies, sometimes they don't die at all. I feel like it's not really as essential to the mythos as Jor-El and Lara's death. Ever since they were first mentioned, they were said to have been killed when they stayed behind on Krypton when it blew up. It's like it only really matters that they're alive throughout Clark's childhood, otherwise anything can happen to them after.

Yep my girlfriend has red hair right now and it looks great on her. Redheads are fab

And you get a  from me for teaching your wife about the many kinds of Kryptonite. I like the red kind the best it would always do such wacky stuff to Superman

Groovy

I'm really interested to see what his run on Superman is going to be like

This is going to sound really weird, but i always get shocked whenever i hear Morrison's thick scottish accent come out of his mouth. I dunno, to me the voice doesn't match the face. lol

red heads drive me crazy.....and i love the hell out of them.

Jimmy Olsen is the second coolest redhead in comics

He needs to have his own ongoing series again and it needs to be written by the guy who wrote his back up stories in Action Comics :hrt:

soooo.........with this relaunch, do you think they will give Supergirl and Superboy slightly different powersets than Superman?
