I know I will be shouted at.

But I quite like Birthright.

Well, Routh had pretty distinctive hair among the Superman actors. Same as if Clark were drawn with overgrown, tussled hair, I'd automatically think of Welling or if Superman were drawn with an infuriating lack of spit-curlage, I'd think of Dean Cain.
Exactly. The only version of Clark Kent who has ever sported hair in that style was Routh.

I fail to understand how one cannot see Brandon Routh's influence in those panels. It's just as obvious as the influence of SR's \S/ belt buckle, "Jason," or the crystal fortress.

Well I dont see Routh because All-Star Superman's Clark is the same way. Really it doesn't matter to me as long as it is a great comic. Who they draw Superman to look like is no matter because Routh did a great job as Superman now do I want to see the movies(Reeve included) come into the comic? No. would I like to see Smallville come into the comics? NO! but if it does so be it if it is done the right way. From what I can see this looks okay I just hope that instead of Lois and Clark taking this kid in they have one of their own.

I can't say I begrudge the crystal Fortress, actually. The rest is annoying, but I always thought the crystal Fortress had the best aesthetic anyway. Certainly better than the Peruvian ziggurat Fortress. Provided we actually see more than one, barren room in the comics, as opposed to the movies or Smallville, I'm sure the Fortress will work out well.

Now I don't see Routh in the pictures but I do however see the person who played Jason.

Holy s**t those look awesome. I agree, you can cleary see a bit of Routh in those pics. It's a shame Kubert isn't on AC for that long.

The best fortress was the one turner drew in the supergirl arc.

Wasn't that the Tesseract? Sorry, I forget some of the details of that arc. If it was, then how was it based off of STAS anymore than the other previous FOS's?

If, however, it wasn't the Tesseract, then I withdraw the question.

The Tesseract was my favorite FOS out of all of the ones Superman's ever had. Infinite space because it was a pocket dimension, a portable doorway to said pocket dimension, all of the trappings expected of Superman's FOS (the giant figures of Jor-el and Lara holding up Krypton, the computers, the trophies, the robots, etc).

Now, from a writing and storytelling perspective, do you guys really think that it was a good idea to blow that one up and then go to the lame-tastic FOS in the Amazon, or the bleak and cold looking one from the movies?

Silly double-Ass. Nothing Turner has drawn has ever been the best version of anything, ever. :o

I think that was Verheiden's version of the Spanish Inquisition, if you know what I'm saying.

**** yourself you know what I mean. Its not because he drew it, i like the idea of it. (look closely at the weapons wall and you'll find a lightsaber)

no, it was the intergalactic wall of weapons. the sword that the predators used in the comics is on there too. an easter egg if you will

Then you're just a big, dumb 'tard, I guess.

An easter sword, you mean. A sword can't be an egg, stupid. Swords and eggs are two different things. :o

then howcome my mommy made me scrambled swords for breakfast?

Because she forgot to take her sanity pills this morning?
