Alas, too true.
Anyone else find the cover of Action Comics in that preview extremely confusing?![]()
Or the black material MAKES people greedy and thus Deathstroke and Luthor clash.Agreed, but IMHO it just makes him a bit more unique to not only be something of a alien that introduces himself to the human race by doing good (fighting for Truth, Justice, and the American way), but also the very last of his kind. To have other survivor's such as Zod, and Kara works. But it's certainly a concept that I could live without.
No, I meant the other cover. The one with Superman and Barry racing.Depends. Luthor might be overcome by his greedness.Or the black material MAKES people greedy and thus Deathstroke and Luthor clash.

They had an alternate cover to the latest JSA with Hawkman as a white lantern and he didn't even appear in the book except as a construct created by Alan Scott's memories, and that was Golden Age Hawkman with the face mask. Seems like they are doing alternate covers that have little to do with the contents.

Even the Phantom Zone criminals sorta ruins the whole tragedy of Krypton and the uniqueness of Kal-El too me.It only works when it is explained that they are in a timeless, limitless void. They were sent there for breaking Kryptonian law and as a result never aged or died. When the Phantom Zone is opened, they can potentially be released to Earth. They are Kryptonian but they didn't survive the destruction of the planet because they weren't on the planet when it was destroyed. Again, Supergirl was best as a matrix. Whoever brought this Kryptonian Supergirl back into continuity doesn't know the essence of Superman! The silver age rehash is garbage. New ideas please!
Okay, that explains it. The tribute covers don't necessarily have to relate to anything. Marvel does that s*** all the time with their tributes to women this year, monkeys last year, zombies the year before that, etc.I'm not sure, but I believe it's meant to be a homage cover, one of those DC's have been doing for their 75th

But an interplanetary culture such as Krypton should have a few survivors, not a lot, but a few such as Phantom Zone prisoners and some who weren't on the planet when it happened.I'd be fine with other green Martians. There's an endless f***ing supply of white Martians, yet not a single green one survived besides J'onn? That's kind of silly.

I think it is a shame the Kryptonians from World of New Krypton were killed off so casually
General Lane killed himself and Lois is exposing him for the atrocities he caused. You can't go after the person who was responsible when he's already dead......again.Even worse is after they are killed off, instead of going after those responsible, Superman takes a stroll across the (non-southern) US because some woman *****es him out.
What. A. Loser.

Yeah, it would have been much better for Lane to face justice instead of killing himself.Mostly DC is throwing it all under the rug, although at least it is being addressed in Supergirl.
And wow was General Ross' death lame. Love it when characters who have super-speed stand there like a deer in the headlights.
Maybe he felt the sonofab***h deserved to die. I guess that's what you want outta your Superman, so, there you go.
