You're hoping for Jurgens after Kubert's already been confirmed and probably drawn multiple issues?

i kinda dont like Kubert either any more, i'm still hoping for Jurgans
The color scheme was what really bugged me in that one particular pic. I'm willing to overlook the \S/ belt buckle if the rest of the suit's color scheme is right. :csad: As for the actual artwork, well, to be honest, all of today's comic book art looks the same to me; it all looks like plastic.

Oh crap, where'd the Parasite's mouth go? I hope his lack of mouthage is because it's a silhouette, and not another needless throwback to the Silver Age.

But I doubt it.

A rainbow of kryptonite and angry Bizarro aren't exactly thrilling either. :(

Wasn't that the Tesseract? Sorry, I forget some of the details of that arc. If it was, then how was it based off of STAS anymore than the other previous FOS's?

If, however, it wasn't the Tesseract, then I withdraw the question.

The Tesseract was my favorite FOS out of all of the ones Superman's ever had. Infinite space because it was a pocket dimension, a portable doorway to said pocket dimension, all of the trappings expected of Superman's FOS (the giant figures of Jor-el and Lara holding up Krypton, the computers, the trophies, the robots, etc).

Now, from a writing and storytelling perspective, do you guys really think that it was a good idea to blow that one up and then go to the lame-tastic FOS in the Amazon, or the bleak and cold looking one from the movies?

Infinite space? Hmmm. It's a wonder why they never used it as a JLA headquarters. Would save on building costs, and it's being situated at the North Pole would be pretty symbolic of the League being international in scope.

They never used it as a JLA HQ because then it wouldn't be the Fortress of Solitude, now would it? It'd be the Fortress of Party Over Here.

True. Still, if there's infinite space, there's be plenty of room for the entire League and Supes could still go undisturbed if he wanted.

Yeah, but he'd still know people are there, and that just ruins your **** when you really want to be alone.

Even when you're three million miles away?

Know what would be hot s***? A structure that was kind of like a tesseract, but instead of being huge on the inside, it's smaller on the inside. How is that for a mindf***. Someone call Grant Morrison. Tell him I have an awesome idea.

Because he just went back and time and told his pre-me self the idea.

No, because its ALSO a big DC project. They probably are ALSO discussing it in the Supes forums, but not all DC fans go to either the Bats or Supes forums. I know I stay mainly in the DC forum.
