That could actually work, I wouldn't mind seeing that actually. At least it makes sense. Having Hermione find out about the ROR in Hogwarts: A History or whatever would be ridiculous. In fact, if Kloves was writing this movie, then chances are this is what would happen.
I fear that the current screenwriter will continue to follow Kloves' model for no better reason than the fact that it preceeds his own and is the "established" formula.

That's a fair point actually. Chanves are Kloves left some type of instruction to where he would like the series to lead.

What's the reason for Kloves not doing OOTP anyway?

I think Kloves agreed to do another film adaptation of some other book and is directing it in addition to writing it.

I was thinking how the Weasley twins would be a pretty likely choice for whoever suggests the Room of Requirement for the D.A. meetings. I would prefer to see them suggest it, anyway, instead of Hermione. So, just a thought...

Or they could've just used Dobby. He could explain that Dumbledore hired him at Hogwarts and then tell about the ROR, it would be that simple.

Shut the hell up already. We've had confirmation that Dobby's cut from the film, so the only thing left now is speculation. Don't be a bastard and quote me only to tell me what I already know should've been left in the film. :cmad: Discuss my awesome speculation. :cmad:

Still mad about Survivor? Because of that, you are guarunteed a seat in the new game starting in January.

And your idea is great. Certainly better than Hermione just looking it up in Hogwarts: A History.

Whoa, I didn't say anything about Survivor damn you. :cmad:

And I'm perfectly aware of how great my idea is, thanks.

Dobby just can't get any love, can he?

Too be honest, Dobby annoyed the crap out of me in COS. But he still should've been included in GOF AND OOTP.

Dobby actually annoys me a lot, but I'm willing to tolerate him so long as he serves certain important story functions.

x_x Harry Potter has no ties to the occult.

People who say that have absolutely no idea what they're talking about and they give the rest of the Christians in the world a bad name.

EDIT: Ah, they're also burning BIBLES. :) Of course, anything that wasn't published in 1611 has to be of the devil...

I don't see how Harry Potter is anti-Christian or anti-any-other-religion.

yes, I have saw something anti-christian, anti-muslin, anti-conservative and anti-american in Harry Potter's books too

oh and also anti-canadian

Its funny how they validate their actions by saying that ONE girl tried to cast a spell on someone (despite whether or not the story is true) but they fail to mention the millions of christian children around the world who read the HP books and are completely unaffected by them. The real problem, like most of theses scenarios, is the parents. If you ignore what your kids are getting into you are asking for trouble. What these fundamentalists should be campaigning for is responsible parenting, not book buring and bannings. Idiots.

news from mugglenet.com

were getting an 2 minute long international trailer in the next month.

who the hell is Luna?

Im watching 3 on HBO right now.

Luna "Loony" Lovegood (born c. 1981) is a fictional character from the Harry Potter series. She is described as looking like an embodiment of dottiness, with her wand tucked behind her ear for safekeeping, orange radish earrings (not to be confused with turnips),[1] and a necklace made of butterbeer corks.

Luna's father is the editor of The Quibbler, a magazine where he prints (according to her) "important stories he thinks the public needs to know." The stories are often ridiculously untrue and silly; Harry Potter briefly considers that it may be a spoof magazine, until he learns that Luna believes them; thus many consider her beliefs odd. Luna defends her beliefs, her father and his magazine against insults from other characters, most notably from Hermione Granger; these are the only instances where she snaps out of her customary "dreamy phase."

I've been watching the ABC Family version of the Chamber of Secrets. Really liking the peeks at Order of the Phoenix that they're showing. This looks like it could be much more faithful than Goblet of Fire.

Also seeing these movies on ABC Family just reminds me that Warner Bros. really needs to release extended/director's cut versions of the movies. Probably won't get them until all 7 movies have come out though.

be weary about how faithful it will be. yates said the film would lose 45 minutes in the edit. most likely a lot of minor stuff were seeing such as the weasley christmas will be cut. if fans rebel though he might not cut as much:D
