That's because the screenwriters have this odd obsession with her. They are deluded into thinking she's talented, but they are like pervy old men who just want to see her on screen for the longest time possible. Even giving her lines of other characters. I am surprised it's not called Hermione Granger & The Order of the Phoenix.

Or quite simply, Hermione Granger & The Showering Scene That We So Desperatly Wanted To Put In But Couldn't, Because Well, It's Kinda Pervy.

Why put naughty images in my head? why? :cmad:

I do not agree about radcliffe being weak. I've seen bad child actors (episode 1, and oh heck episode 2 and 3)

radcliffe's performances so far have been rather good in comparison and just in itself and he really has an excellent command of the character, same with Rupert who is probably the reason people think dan's weak because he's absolutely brilliant.
He's ok, during normally played scenes. When it comes to emotional scenes though, he's awful. The whole 'he was their friend!' moment was terribly acted and you just wanted to cringe at even watching the movie in the cinema at that moment.

How it should have gone.

Potter: HE WAS THEIR FRIEND!!!
Audience: *sniffles* oh that was wonderful

How it did play out.

Potter: HE WAS THEIR FRIEND!!!!
Audience: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Hilarity ensues and accidents happen to people rolling in the ailses and falling over each other.

In actual fact, there should have been a warning before the movie started to explain that there might be a moment of uncontrollable laughing and for everyone to remain in the seats untils it passed. Kinda like turbulence.

Yes, that's it. Dan Radcliffe's performance is kinda like turbulence.

It seems my playful side is taking over my body at this moment in time, so I just like to throw things out there and see how people will react.

Thank you for taking part.

It's true a lot of people are obsessed with her.

Old men, young men, kids, teenagers who are slightly confused, hot lesbians, rugby playing lesbians, bus drivers, taxi drivers, little girls who want to be like her, teenagers who thinks she's got style (God help them), dirty pedo screenwriters, everyone at her school, everyone at her region of the country, the 45657676 staff she has working at her small bungalow, practically everyone who posts in this thread (Dr. Fate, Matt, you're the only ones who see her for what she truly is), people who love God, people who hate God, people who have this weird obsession with Satan, oh and just in case I forgot, dirty pedo SCREENWRITERS!!!

Sometimes I think I am the only sane person in an insane world. :(

Fight the power:D

You know what the weird thing is?

I can't stand the girl, don't think she has any talent, isn't really attractive and know she's stuck up, but when it came to her possibly not coming back for Half Blood Prince, I didn't like it.

That crazy, eyebrow wielding psycho is now stuck in my head as Hermione. I want to see her finish the series (fingers crossed we get a death scene in the seventh).

Life sure knows how to kick you in the balls. :(

One scene that sticks out for me are his poor attempts at humor. Like in Goblet of Fire, when Cho waves at him and he spits juice out of his mouth, he kind of just lets it slurp out. Or the "wouldyougototheballwithme" scene, its just executed so badly. He has no sense of comedy or comedic timing.

Well, he is basically the "Cyclops" straight man of the series.

He was supposed to let it slurp out. He was trying to smile at her but forgot he had juice in his mouth. Matt, dude what's up with this stuff man?

The cho scenes are my fav since dan seems genuinely uncomfortable around cho which is spot on...

oh well... matt's matt...

Ok, maybe my problem is writing, but its not funny, its just....gross. But still, I stand by it, any other attempt at humor he has fails. Leave the humor to Rupert Grint I say.

Both those scenes had the whole theater laughing everytime I went to see it...

Just goes to show you, that your average movie going audience are morons. :oldrazz:

Yes, shame on them for enjoying something. :whatever:

Jesus dude, it was a joke.

It was done in good fun. Lighten the hell up.

You'll probably all hate me for saying this, but I must say it: I don't like Rupert Grint. There. I said it. Now let the flaming begin.

HOW DARE YOU SAY YOU DON'T LIKE RUPERT GRINT, YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS BECAUSE HE'S RICH, FAMOUS AND SO STUNNINGLY HANDSOME AND YOU'RE NOT. HOW DARE HOW DARE HOW DARE YOU!!!!

Nah, I kid I kid.

So what is it that you don't like about him?

Grint honestly has the best comic timing in the movies aside from Alan Rickman. Rickman knows how to come in on a comic beat. Everyone else is just going through the motions...well, maybe Robbie Coltrane.

agreed.

and the scene of the juice is quite funny...

It wouldn't be soooo hard to NOT think about young illegal children and teens if they had a good marriage or relationship with a guy/girl. When a person is in a healthy relationship they stay away from the wierd sick behavior. I glad that I dont think sick like that! I'm a christian and I dont believe in those things. Sin is Sin...And I intend to try my best to be what God wants me to be! So "NO" that type of stuff doesnt even play a factor in my though life and I would hope that it wouldn't in most of you on this website.

Grint's inarticulate delivery of his lines, combined with his "I'm-so-scared-I'm-going-barf" expressions annoy the Hell out of me. Please do not ask me to go any further, or else we're going to have an all out flame war here.

Go on, go further. *pokes*
:oldrazz:

Nah, it won't bother me. Everyone can have an opinion, yours may differ, it's cool.

Personally I love his expressions, and I really think he has found a little niche for himself due to his comedic timing.

Tell that to Dan in the Eragon thread.

Harry's Patronus:
I can't give you the full details of the line yet, but what you won't be able to tell from the pictures below is that the line is 3.75" scale! Yeah, I saw the sculpt and gasped as well (and I can tell you that the preapproved Ron and Hermoine I've seen in private look just as good!) This scale gives the line a lot of possibilities, a LOT of possibilities, that have me very excited and wanting to tell you more.
