Angels have nothing to do with witchcraft...and the Catholics have had their day and no one cares what they have to say. Whatever they don't like becomes so popular it's not funny.

Yah it is the truth that angels have nothing to do with witchcraft but the Catholics (or at least the ones against Potter which is not many) would still have a field day with the harry potter book being named after angels. They would say they were trying to associate their religion with witchcraft or something and you are also right that no one would care, i was just saying:(.

You ever get the feeling that sometimes the Catholics just complain to get attention?

Yah but if that was the english title, the catholic's who say harry potter is full of witchcraft would have a field day.

lol Catholic fanatics are so funny...I don't give a damn what they have to say... I just ignore them and I'm sure Rowling does the same

Oh yah of course. Their arguments are laughable. I always enjoy what they have to say, because its funny.

That's okay! Don't worry be happy!

And Dr. Fate, I agree they just piss off to gain attention. No one can give me a hard time about saying that because I'm Roman Catholic.

I fear that the current screenwriter will continue to follow Kloves' model for no better reason than the fact that it preceeds his own and is the "established" formula.

Nah, I don't think so. Michael Goldenberg has done some excellent screenplay adaptations before doing Order of the Phoenix, such as Contact and Peter Pan. He followed what Kloves added on and excluded from the previous four movies (he kept the character Nigel, for one) in order to keep continuity film-wise, but aside from that, he was given room to inject his own flavor into the fifth film. If you saw that OOTP preview, there was a scene being filmed in which Harry and Sirius talk in St. Mungo's that isn't from the book, but it solidifies the Harry/Sirius bond on film and faithful to the spirit of the novel. (And it's one scene that I hope is kept in the final cut.)

And judging by the sheer amount of scenes shot for the film, I think Goldenberg has a better grip on the story because he went in fresh. Hopefully, we'll get an entertaining and tightly-paced story that cuts corners from the book but doesn't lose the overall story. (I thought OOTP was a boring book in stretches and needed some big trims anyway.)

Here here! The book was too long. I had to buy a paperback after I got the hardback on the day of release because I found it easier to read a paperback for some reason

I can go either way with hard back VS paper back.

I actually thought the book of OOTP was too short. I am hoping the 7th book will be longer.

I thought OotP was just a right size and I was hoping for HBP to be longer. But yeah, I want DH to be way longer than OotP.

Harry Potter OoTP was my favourite one. Perfect length, im hoping for 7 to be longer, because once 7 is over then Potter is over for good.

^ Yeah, thats going to suck. Harry Potter is what got me into books.

I don't care the length of a book, as long as it be good.

DH really needs to break 1000 pages i forgot but did OOTP break 1000?

I think OOTP was like over 850 pages. I just got finshed reading it a month ago. Great book. Now on HBP..its going alright. Short book though.

Jason Isaacs on Harry Potter 5
Source: SCI FI Wire January 11, 2007

Jason Isaacs told SCI FI Wire that he has a bit more to do in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, coming to conventional theaters and IMAX on July 13. He told the site a spoiler on a scene from the fifth film and here's a clip:

"I get to have a wand battle with Gary Oldman, possibly my favorite actor in the universe," Isaacs said. "We get to play around like two 10 year olds. And with kind of unlimited sci-fi imagination. It's fun. We just go, 'Well, how about if I ... .' And anything you finish that sentence with, they go, 'Yeah, OK. You can do that.' So it was magnificent."

OotP was also written in a slightly smaller font than the rest of the series. Ootp used a 11.5 size font, which in my opinion, made the book several hundred pages shorter...so really, OotP crossed the 1000 page threshold.

I was pretty bummed to hear that he doesn't appear in HBP.
I always found his character to be cool , despite him playin it a bit OTT.

Well, Lucius is in Azkaban, that's why he didn't appear in book 6
