I think it is possible the person writing the article doesn't keep up with movie news so what he saw at the toy fair is his first bit of info. Believe it or not, not everyone obsesses on this stuff like we do guys. He's a toy guy I'm sure.

What the HELL?

I hope you are not getting worked up over this. I don't know for others I really don't care if they wanna call it a sequel or reboot. Whatever it is called shouldn't break the movie, but the content of it. I personally believe that probaly when we see the first five minutes of the movie it may feel like a sequel but by the time we get in the middle of the movie (maybe 30 - 45 mins) we would forget about the first film and would be just enjoying this new film.

I just really need confirmation that this is a reboot. I can't enjoy it if it's a sequel to that crap from before. I thought I had confirmation, and now this, so now I'm as confused as ever.

Well According to my understanding the only link to the previous movie is that Bruce Banner starts where he ended in the first movie (Brazil). But as far as storyline goes it will not be like a continuation of the story of the first movie, but entirely different in terms of tone and I guess you can say interpretation. That is why we have a new director and actors because they will be taking the film in a different direction from Ang's Film. But that is according to my understanding I could be corrected if anyone can prove otherwise.
