The Official TIH Merchandise Thread

i saw the hulk figures at walmart today i think they look decent i'd buy' em only thing is the thunderclap hulk is a different color than steele fist hulk, but what the heck.

when is that Target Marvel Legends exclusive going to be released? I've been checking every couple days (theres a wal mart and target within a mile), and just find the regular junky figures.

yeah...anyone have any idea? i've been going a couple times a week to look.

I'm betting it comes out with the second wave of Hulk figures, probably another month or so.

The toy fair 2nd wave figures had a street date of October on some of the cards, I hope thats not true. The figures now blow, I would have liked to see a high end detailed NECA-esqe figure instead of this crap.

You sure that wasn't the Legends street date? I know they were much later in the year (although they will be available as a complete set at SDCC). I would think they would not wait that long for a 2nd wave of Hulk movie figures.

It's Marvel, man. These guys love dragging their feet anymore.

anybody here think toybiz did better?
i know i do.

Without a damn doubt. Toy Biz knew you commission and make a quality piece that greatly represents a character, people will buy it. Hasbro sucks. It's like they dont realize 4 inch figures are unattractive in a collection, especially with DC putting out decent product. I dont know what the hell the Marvel people we're thinking.

I haven't thought much of their stuff since changing over to Hasbro. I don't get it because much like the movies, I think they had more control with Toy Biz. Giving the product over to Hasbro equates to handing over movie properties to Fox.
But I don't really buy the toys, so I guess my opinion doesn't count.

i noticed that hasbro tried to step up thier work when i saw the sm3 toys from this year, thier bigger, resemble the characters a lil' bit more and are 'super' posable. but toy biz had quality work, even the hard to open box screams collectable, and coming with comics was genius.
ive also nioticed DC has put out decent work that also came with comics, so switching to hasbro may not have been thien best choice.

If I find a decent figure, I buy it. Same with T-shirts, I dont go crazy, but I swear i'm going to make a lifesized Hulk one of these days. But I'm not too crazy. I dont buy everything I can find with Hulk on it.

Hey, I resemble that remark!!!

Well, okay not everything. Don't have the money to buy everything, just the really cool things first and hope the rest goes on sale later at some point.

That Marvel Legends line under Toy Biz was indeed pretty damn cool. The only one I ever bought was the 6" Punisher...it looks JUST like Frank Castle, scowl and all, and now sits atop of my desk. I also picked a Spidey from SM2 that has magnets in his hands and feet. He's on the fridge.
And right now, because of the movie, I busted out my Professor Hulk and Maestro figures from '96. I didn't pick up the newer ones from last year.
I used to buy the 2" die cast Marvel figures whenever I saw them. They were only $2 and looked great. I could place them about my desk and got about 20 different ones. I hate that they replaced these with the Superhero Squad.
That's pretty much all I have bought for myself.
When they left Toy Biz, they regretably dropped the Spider-man and friends line which is too bad because I was buying those for my nephews.

Awesomeness!

Anyone know if Hot Topic or any place is going to sell some t-shirts?

Say what you will about Ang Lee's Hulk, but I have a figure from that movie on the shelf next to Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, and Iron Man movie figures. So my question is are these figures good enough to look good next to my other figures? More specifically how does this Hulk's action figures compare to Ang Lee's Hulk action figures?

Also, does Hulk have tie ins with 7/11?
