The Official TIH Merchandise Thread

Hulk does have a tie in with 7/11.

as for the figs...i think they look good among my other Hulks (i have a lot), but with other figures? maybe not. mainly because they'll probably be shorter then your other figs.

The one detail thing that bugs me incredibly about these figure and gives it a definite stamp of "cheap" is that they couldn't even male the joint pegs green on a couple of these Hulk figures. I seen one (the Hulk with the steel gurder and Blue pants) where the joints in his ankles had Blue plastic for some cheap reason. It stands out incredibly. Now, I understand Hasbro isn't a company into hyper detail, but come on, doing something like that shows quality control is near non-existant and for a movie line of a franchise relaunch that is just lame and pathetic to have any figure mass prodused like that.

As far as comparing these to the first film's spotty figures, at least the Ang hulk Figures had consistant construction and okay paintwork. These Hasbro figures have f'ing cross eyes, and at the worst the Hulk and Abomination look like sea sick cousins of the Goonies Sloth.

The movie Hulk toys are geared more towards kids than collectors like us, they are going to be a little more basic (but they should be a little cheaper than $10 a piece if they really want a bunch of kids to buy them). Let's be honest, how many 6 year olds went crying to their mom "Mommy, I want the new War Hulk figure!! Now!!!" Most of the real young kids would not know why the Smart Hulk was wearing glasses. I do wish they had more detail and were better looking but I find them just as good as the first Hulk movie figures (which I was not completely happy with either). I will be getting them all because a person can never have enough Hulk action figures!!

Yeah, but you also have part of your site designated to your collection. I'm just a finicky collector who can't stand having stuff stay in the package.

Up til about 3 years ago, most of my figures were still in the package but then I decided that for the action figures, you have to have them out, standing on shelves. Now everything else Hulk related I buy, yeah, I'm anal and keep it in the package. I am actually going to have to by another set of shelves due to the number of Hulk figures coming out this year between the movie and new LEgends figures. yeah me!

I dont know how you guys do it, but I've never been a good collector. I have a buddy that recently sold off a good portion of his Spider-man comic and movie merchandice collection to pay for his wedding. My Hulk stuff is maybe worth a hundred if that, I dont have all that much.

No....that would be ArtTeacher

Oh no, I've been outted! :woot:

Heh...I know, I know...it's a sickness...

But I don't have nearly the amount of things as JoeFixit2.

However, I can't think of much that I wouldn't do to own one of those giant Hulk statues!!!!

Oh, and comparing the ToyBiz Marvel figures to the Hasbro ones is like comparing Michael Jordan's basketball skills to Michael Jackson's.

Has anyone seen any really good detailed collectors Hulk figure for this film, cause all the regular figures I have seen look like total crap. *

LOL!!! Yeah, my collection is pretty SCARY!! :wow: I have so much stuff I want to sell, still trying to figure out how???

I have a couple 6' shelves that I put everything on along with my desk (wife hates it all but allows it). She gave me the brand-new 2 car garage, we don't put the vehicles in for my "man-cave".

ToyBiz did us right with the Legends lines and I want to get rid of most of everything else... Spawn, old MARVEL, Old Batman stuff...

They should add us a collectible buy/sell/trade board on here!!

Ok so no one has seen any special edition Marvel collectors Movie figure?

When does that 3D Hulk Empire Magazine hit the newstands in the USA? The time lag is driving me crazy. ME WANT!!!!!!!!!!

I seen the Empire at Borders, with no 3-D cover! It was even advertised on it.

Ok so OFFICIALLY there no HUlk collectors figure, Im glad I found that out!!

Are you talking about the Target exclusive figure? Other than that, I don't know of any special Hulk movie figures. the Target one does not appear to have been released yet.

Hey, I resemble that remark!!!

Well, okay not everything. Don't have the money to buy everything, just the really cool things first and hope the rest goes on sale later at some point.

It's just that "reflex" action. Hulk item? Put it in the cart! Oh wait, it's just a bottle opener with the word "Hulk" on it? No, I guess I don't need it.

Do I?

Does anyone know if they are going to release a book with stills, concept art etc like they did for Ang Lee's Hulk?

Toyfair-Hulk.jpg

well, well, well. The Incredible Hulk figures made the cover of Toy Fair, but it is the (still unreleased) Target exclusive Marvel Legends figure that is essentially a Toy Biz repaint with a head resculpt.

Kinda sad they couldn't put up the reguler movie figures because they look so downgraded in quality.
