Hypothetical: If an anonymous benefactor sent someone a very cute and funny picture of Tom goofing around on the SV set, but said someone had no clue under what context it was taken, or of whom it was taken by, should said someone post it?

In terms of answers, I'm looking for the moral view, not "dammit, I wanna see the picture."

Well, given this particular scenario, I'd just cut to the chase: Does the person in current possession of the hypothetical picture run a fan site for Tom and would said person be upset when the hypothetical picture ended up on every other TW fan site immediately after it was publicly posted? 'Cause you know it would. The walls have both ears AND eyes.

If that is the case, chose your friends wisely, and just PM 'em. I'd say there are quite a few with established credit here. LOL

Well, I don't think either usage is correct English... they're both colloquialisms so maybe up in your neck of the woods you use the words differently than down in mine....

If he posed for a goofy shot, then because he seems to have a great sense of humor, I don't think he'd be offended that people saw it. But that's just speculation.

Hmmm...putting on my wee psychoanalysis hat I'd say James might want to post it because he has brought it up in the open for discussion in a public forum...If it were a truly deep moral dilemma, one might more profitably mull it around in one's own mind and come to a decision that is most congruent with one's hard learned values.

It's just a picture, I'm sure either way you decide, it'll be ok, but for different reasons.

I say if he posed for it it's not the dreaded papazzari, besides there have been plenty of fan encounter shots etc.. So unless it is embarrasing I say post it. If you do tell us what's in it we all might better be able to say if it would be embarrasing.

Hey I like that behind the camera one. My guess would be alot of shoots before they got it right. Those two just seem to look at each other some times, and crack up.
