Actually, at the time of this film beards were standard in Grecian society.

According to Wikipedia, shaving the beard wasn't poplularized until later...

(Grecian) Men grew beards until Alexander the Great created a vogue for shaving....

I think I probably would have loved Gladiator in any case, it was a fun movie, but it's hard to really know for sure.

Crowe made that movie for me personally.

He was so sexy in that film and totally made the drek-filled dialogue watchable... I can't imagine anyone else speaking such horrible lines and still somehow made it all work.

It was like magic.

Hmm, you know I can completely relate, I feel almost the same way about a particular tv show.
I still love it though.

I'm not sure I've heard Let in Love, but I did love Bring it On...

Bloom is pretty but Tom's pretty and yet very masculine at the same time. (I'm not sure how he does it but he does.)



He could easily pull off the ancient and deadly warrior thing... I know he does angry tons better than Bloom even dreams of doing it.

I can't imagine feeling scared seeing Orlando Bloom running at me across a battle field but I know I would be petrified if Tom were.

Lee your going to have this problem till the movie comes out because although the show is Smallville it is about Superman and SV clearly takes from the Donner movie which the project that shall not be named is a follow up too. So people are always going to talk it just depends on how out of hand it will get. Also come on C. Lee over 17,000 post and still living in the 50 x 50 era.

I agree with you all I am saying is you got a job on your hands. Because then its like you got to ban the SV posters who bring it up as well even if they refer to it in other names to set an example. Just saying but its cool.

I agree with you in that was a childish way on how he did it though it is a nice clip. I just am saying it has to be fair and go both ways because I have seen other people bring it up as well. I just think the best way to deal with things is leave it alone altogether but as I said before it will be hard see it both are dealing with Superman and taking from the same movie.
