Serious though, I'd like to see some XM:FC material pop up in stores...Cap has marketing already...why not FC?

Due to the rushed production they weren't able to plan out a cohesive merchandising strat.

Expect much more to come though if the movie performs well at the BO.

Hasbro totally dropped the ball on this one...
I think they know it also, as I was in Toys R Us yesterday and saw 2 comic two packs (cyclops and Marvel Girl in their "First Class Uniforms and Logan and Sabretooth)and the Wolverine Claw with "X-Men First Class" logo on it.

Hasbro could have put something together...Thor, Cap, Transformers...isn't the whole goal of a company to increase profits? Im sure they were swamped with the three properties listed but there had to have been some designers available....

I know it won't happen but Hasbro should launch an exclusive toyline based on all X-men movies, that'd be awesome considering all those figures missing (Deathstrike, Pyro, Angel, etc.)

Not Hasbro's fault. Time constraints didn't allow for a proper order from Fox.

Craig you mention a rushed production, i was not awre of that could you elaborate? is it a similar thing to Fox losing the right to Disney if they don't make a film in a certain time period?

No, Fox just likes to rush their tentpoles. Mostly because they don't plan ahead.

If they are successful then Hot Toys second wave may consist of -

Beast and Emma Frost

Why wouldn't Xavier be first alongside Erik? He and Magneto are the protagonists as far as I know.
And I know a whole lot of fans who would be incredibly excited with the idea of a McXavier figure. Oh boy.

Magneto would be first as he a more popular character.

He has a cooler costume and gives the line a kick start, his success will determine the release of further characters. However both he a Xavier will be successful because you need both. The other characters are just aesthetically pleasing.
