WB said that each Director has creative control of the their films.

lol. After this mess, and all the damage control currently in play, do you honestly believe anything WB says?
This whole mess is WB's fault to begin with.
Robinov put Snyder on MOS and it was downhill from there.

Not often I find myself in agreement with Campea but I'm glad he's on board. This seems to be gaining traction.

I mean I'll do it guys. I'll spend most of the budget convincing Timm and Dini to help me but I will direct if need be.

As long as I write the film treatment and roach does the screenplay.

No Zack Snyder's the one to blame.

The only blame we should be put on Warner Bros is being desperate enough in starting a cinematic universe to the point where they gambled the future of DC's films to that manchild.

I prefer gym rat on amphetamines. ;)

I was surprised Snyder got to do BvS after MoS. I was somewhere in the middle of that movie. Didn't love it, didn't hate it.. it was alright. Similar to like the first Captain America for me. Enjoyable movie that I didn't need to see more than once. BvS I liked more than MoS, but it was still a mixed bag. While visually I would like them to keep him for the sake of feeling like a shared cinematic universe, I think getting someone else is the better option.

But I'm also slightly biased since I'm not really a fan of him. I liked his Dawn of the Dead remake quite a bit, but Watchmen and Sucker Punch are both in my 10 bottom films. I hated both of them. 300 and MoS were OK, BvS was good (not great) and I didn't see the Owl movie.

I wanna be the Kevin Feige of DC.

...MORE Batman

There are other people at fault. This film obviously suffered from WB exec meddling. Especially the forced cameos of the JL members. This entire thing reeked of desperation by WB to cash in on the MCU's success.

Snyder was their fast and dirty choice to force this all together, and this was the result. I don't even think Terrio and Affleck will be able to script together a decent DCEU film under WB/DC films current regime. People like Geoff Johns, Diane Nelson and more need to be sacked too. They need to clean house. DC's live action approach just sucks.

I am not surprised that Snyder got so many chances. Remember how many chances the Wachowski's got even after they made bomb after bombs? WB is 'generous' like that.

Which is why I say WB is more to blame than Snyder. They are still making one bad decision after the next. This is almost Sony level bad decision making.

I wish they would be bring in Grant Morrison to write a film, down the road.

Skewed poll much. No option for him to stay where he isn't blamed? Kinda biased and obvious that any option except one, lays blame to him.

Aside from the poor quality of BvS, some of the things he's been saying lately are asinine. Like his defense for all the criticism of BvS was he said he only knows how to do comic book aesthetic, so that's what he did. It takes more than nice aesthetics to make a good movie and a competent director should know that.
He's struggling to defend the flaws, I *would* feel bad for him but then I remember that he took every criticism for MOS, and ramped them up to 11th in this film, so yeah, he deserves it.

He needs to go. It's a shame if we do have to see a JL film by him.

That option is that he's not to blame and should stay.

It's that one no one has voted for.

I honestly think he's hurting more than he is helping at this point. The studio is just going to see the box office numbers and consider him a winner. The concept alone could break the box office IMO.

Could I just say:

"Should DC/WB ditch Snyder altogether ? (B v S wasn't great, and things could get worse)"

This is a scary thought that things could get worse than BvS.

Snyder is a ****** director. This movie makes that clear.

Forget faithfulness to the comics, do you know what a ****ing establishing shot is Snyder?

Was Gotham even shown in this movie? I honestly can't remember.

Neither have I because it still lays blame somewhere. Should have been just 3 options. Stays, leaves and possibly a yes with a condition. In any case I don't mind him staying at all.
