this suggetion might be abit of a stretch, but, i'v recently, kinda got into the idea of.... Brendan Hines
(he gives me that Clark Kent kinda vib, anyway)

he's kinda got the right look, but, not in that prettyboy way, that routh and welling have, he still on the young side young, though, it doesn't show as much as with BR&TW IMO

gainted, he's not actually the picture of fittness, but, if he got in shape,(bulked up alot) I could see him pulling it off

I thankyou Spider-fan83 for making a suggestion that nobody else has. It makes the thread more interesting.

He looks pretty okay to me. If he can act and put on some muscle I could see it.

I've always liked Paul Johansson as a "Kingdom Come" Superman:

Another pic of Trucco just because I'm tired of seeing the same head shot over and over.

I still kind of like Porter.

I'll have to get around to it.

Personally I still like Mathew Bomer.

[IMG] Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The begining sucked ass but when I saw him I thought, Superman.

I know this isn't anything new but I'll just put him out there again.

What SatEL said. It is so worth it. I would also reccommend Superman For All Seasons, my personal favorite.

Me either, in regards to the art, it almost turned me away. The story is what caught me.

Henry Cavill is a great actor, watch him on the Tudors, has aged and looks like Superman. He is a much better choice. Trucco looks a little bit, how do I say, like a bad-ass, edgy guy and not Superman like from what i`ve seen of him.

Yeah I liked the way it was told and how it got into the characters and their motivations.

I also read Red Son it was an interesting What If, I especially dug the cute ending. The death of Superman was hard to get through because all it was was a bunch of fighting. Meh, it was okay I guess.

    Knight, Hulk, and whomever else.

Can we cut the Routh vs Welling garbage. That is so 4 years ago.

We most likely wont ever see Welling as Superman on the big screen and we might never see Routh again as Superman on the big screen. So now both sides can be content...

This is about actors other then Welling and Routh that could play Superman...

Plus, about Cavill, by the time this movie is actually shooting, he will look much older.

Just give us a Kingdom Come film W.B.
We'd have a Superman film and a J.L. film (of sorts) all rolled into one.

You weren't, but it was starting to become one. He planted the seed with the comment and you watered the soil. Only a matter of time before the argument sprung up. :csad:
