WTF?! The structure of the Bojan to Roma deal sounds so stupid it's untrue.

The deal includes an obligatory buy-back clause that would see Barca re-sign the player at the end of the 2012-13 season for €13 million, but Roma can nullify the clause if they pay a further €28 million.

So pretty much Roma has him on loan for two years unless Barca decides they don't want him. And if Roma really want Bojan they have to pay an extra 28 million on top of the initial 12.

City to open Aguero talks

Don't City already have like 4 or 5 strikers in their squad already? Tevez will more than likely stay until at least January because I can't see anyone paying £50m for him, Adebayor will probably end up forcing a move out.. and they've still got Dzeko, Balotelli + Bellamy I believe is back at the club training & theres also Santa Cruz who is lurking about somewhere.

Shouldn't Manchester City be thinking about getting their unwanted players sold before bringing in their replacments?

I wonder how Manchester City will fair with these new FIFA financial fair play rules..

No, we have basically two strikers. Adebayor, Bellamy and Santa Cruz have no future here and Tevez is Kia's puppet. However, looks like Kun will travel to Manchester this Sunday and free agent Timo Hildebrand will become our no.2 goalkeeper.

If I were City I'd force Tevez to see out his contract with the club or force him to buy himself out of it if he wants to leave that badly.

In my opinion I think hes treated Manchester City far worse than he has Manchester United, I mean he knew were his daughters/wife/whoever was going to be when he signed a £25m transfer & a 4/5 year contract at the club less than 2 years ago.

Not to sound like a *****ebag but what's the big deal anyway? They can't move to England? Is it a language thing because I'm sure City can afford a translator and/or English courses.

Tevez is a puppet, he will always do what Jaroobchian will want. And 4 months ago he had 19-years old girlfriend, he and his wife were separated for a long time.

**** there's a blast from the past, he was meant to be the next Kahn long before Neuer or Adler were anyway near the picture.... I reckon being City's number 2 keeper will become almost as redundant as being Liverpool's number 2. Joe Hart seems to have abit of the Reina invincibility about him.

Anyone seen the Joey Barton stories? Seems to be interesting everyone including Manchester United, I think Liverpool would be missing a trick if they didn't sign him to play balls into Carroll, Barton seemed to have it down to an art form. I guess the only problem would be who would he replace in Liverpools already over stocked midfield?

I think United could use a midfielder like Joey Barton. He's good on the ball, creative and is not afraid to go in for a tackle. Probably could've used him against Barcelona.

i would not want that piece of scum to be working in the united shop let alone on the team

Theres no loyalty or heart in it. Players signing for a club just for a big pay cheque.

If Manchester City had say the same sort of financial situation as say Tottenham, Mario Balotelli, Yaya Toure, Carlos Tevez etc would never have given them a second glance.. even if they had qualified for the Champions League or Europe for a season.

Make no mistake they are at the club for one reason & one reason only, a big pay cheque.

I much prefare players like Raul, Scholes, Giggs, Carragher, Terry, Adams, Seaman, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Casillas etc players that have moved to a club or played for a club because they're heart was with the club. They are more likely to remain at the club through hardships & fight to get the team back were it belongs.. players that are only there for a paycheque will be quick to jump ship if things aren't going their way or the team is struggling.. just look at the number of unhappy City players at the moment for proof.

I want Joey Barton absolutely nowhere near Manchester United. Besides, hes no better than any other central midfielder we have at the club in my opinion.

Fergie: no more signings this summer, we're done

what the flying ****

is this a smoke screen to me, gill has told him nasri and sneijder has said bugger off and this is cover your backside time

Well with both Nasri & Sneijder looking like they are going to stay with their clubs for at least another year, I'd rather he didn't just rush & out and essentially buy what would be his third choice central midfielder. It's frustrating, but at the same time he only wants the best for the club so I think I can appreciate his stance. He wants his first choice transfers not his backups..

However he has said this in the past & still signed other players, if Nasri or Sneijder or someone on his wishlist becomes available, I'm sure he'll sign them up.

Now that the Women's World Cup is over, the American players can now go back to playing in front of seven fans in the Womens League.

I thought Manchester City were currently overloaded with strikers so questioned the pursuit of Aguero... however now I see why they need him when Idiotelli is running around doing dumb**** stuff like this:

I realise this is a frendly, but honestly what goes through this fools mind.. he was completely clean through could have had a perfectly good swipe at goal with his good foot but instead tries something incredibly cocky & as the commentator said, very disrespectful to the opponents. The L.A. Galaxy & the Manchester City fans in attendence seemed impressed with his dickery if the boos are anything to go by.

Mancini did the right thing & immediatly subbed Balotelli, who then had the nerve to give some backtalk to Mancini. I'm near positive he tried to say that he thought he'd heard the whistle for offside.. bull ****ing ****, you can tell after he missed that he didn't think that for one second.

If this guy wasn't such an idiot he would be capable of filling the void Tevez will undoubtably leave should he get a move away from the club.. which now looks like it won't happen at the very least until January..

I have a lot of respect for Mancini. Honestly, did Mario not see the UAE penalty kick video? That is not acceptable, even in a friendly.

I didn't even know we had a WPS team in my area. I'm from Miami and apparently there's a team in Boca Raton called....Magicjack. Hope Solo and Abby Wambach play there and apparently Abby Wambach was just named Player-Manager.

In fairness to Mario he does say he thought he was offside, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility. I mean we all believed RVP didn't hear the whistle at the Nou Camp, but I dare say his reputation has gone before him. I am shocked though that anyone could find that UAE spot kick as being disrespectful, I mean players backheel goals from open play and those goals are labelled as genius, hows it any different from that or say a player just chipping his penalty down the middle?

It was disrespectful because that guy did the penalty kick while his team was leading 5-2 already.

So if the game was 1-1 it'd have been fine? How's it any different to chipping a penalty kick down the middle, Henry did it for Arsenal (who were top of the league) against Leeds (who were bottom of the league at the time) years ago to make it 3-0 in the first half, he was labelled a genius (which I agreed with). Whats the difference?

[YT]gBHD0BHxQPE[/YT] around the 1:10 mark.
