Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica’s The Order: 1886 has gone gold for PlayStation 4, Ready at Dawn CEO Ru Weerasuriya announced.
The third-person shooter is set in a steam-punk, Victorian-Era London and follows the Knights of The Order, who are able to heal their wounds and extend their lifespans as they battle against a dangerous and supernatural foe known as the Half-Breeds. But a new threat emerges in the form of rebellion, and the lower class declares war against The Order and their government.
The Order: 1886 is due out on February 20.

This game has just recently caught my attention. Looks gorgeous and gameplay looks promising.

I really hope I'm wrong, but this game just gives me a Ubisoft vibe.

Please don't be a disappointment.

After the disappointment of Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed Unity, I'm gonna wait for reviews on this.

Yeah, I'm definitely waiting on reviews. Though I usually do that with most games anyway, I occasionally make exceptions. This won't be one of them, lol.

This game screams really, really short. I also wonder what replay value there will be beyond that. The trophy list is even short.

Ill get to play this in like 2 weeks. Looking forward to it. One of the more intriguing titles coming out in the next few months.

hope this will be good. but, yeah, I'm waiting for reviews on this one too.

how short is not worth it? ISS in my opinion was too short to be worth $60.

I'm predicting this game will be at least 10 hours long.

Second Son was too short, but I played through it twice, so it definitely had some replay value for me. But when it comes to length, it isn't necesarily the length, but the replay value. Bayonetta 2 can be beaten in 10-12 hours. But I have gotten at least 3 times that out of it already.

I have a lot of fears with this game. The look, the mythology and world are right up my ally, but a great game that does not make. A game is a game first, and the gameplay is most paramount. The gameplay looks extremely shallow, and not in a way that will be fun for long. the director talking about how gameplay was at best third on their list of concerns bothers me when it comes to a game. The QTEs look ridiculous. There seems to be a lot of walking, a lot of cutscenes and not a lot of game. That is why I worry about value in general.

I still remember when the original trailer came out. People here were fawning over the trailer that featured no gameplay. I now fear that is the "game" we got. A lot of style, not a lot of substance.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the look, tbh. I mean, the graphics are beautiful, but in the latest trailer, some of the gameplay looks TOO dark, like I wouldn't be able to see everything that's going on very well. And yeah, I could adjust the brightness, but I don't care for those super dark aesthetics in which I'd even have to consider doing that. One of the reasons I generally avoid horror games.

I think they made it dark because of the Lycan/Werewolf element of the game which is too scare the gamers in those sequences. But I am sure you will be able to adjust the brightness. Regarding the length of the game I do expect it to be 10 or more hours plus since there is no multiplayer

I dunno man. I haven't paid much attention to what was released but I hear what people are saying. So I hear ya. Let's just wait and see when the reviews come out. It's not till late February that the game releases anyway.

Well, I'm definitely looking forward to it , I've had the CE pre-ordered for a few weeks now.

It doesn't need to get a 10 from IGN for me to enjoy it (which is what I can't stand hearing from people, "IGN gave it a ___ which = Horrid reviews" :lmao: I called out one my friends recently around Black Friday about him criticizing my purchase of Alien Isolation because it got "horrid reviews" and I knew he was talking about IGN's review which I think was in the 5 or 6 range but it has an 80ish on Metacritic. He stopped texting me for almost a week after I made him look like an ass and told him to pull IGN's ____ out of his ___. :funny: :hehe:

But getting back to The Order, the game looks terrific, it doesn't have to be the best game of this gen but it looks like it'll be worth it.

I hope the reviews are good
this game is definitely the best looking thing I've seen on the newest gen consoles
and I'm hankerin' for a new game to obsess over

I want this to be good. I really really do. But I suspect the game is going to be lame. :/ Just watching a play through of it it seemed like the AI was broken and the gameplay was very by the numbers.

It seems as I suspected the Lycans are collaborating with the rebels. The Lycans probably organized or orchestrated the rebellion so the British Empire would destroy itself from within.

More likely the twist is the Order brought about the Rebellion in some sort of weird inside job by the leader.

One of them at least is probably a turncoat. The Bobby Paige trailer shows that the Lycans can convert regular humans into half-breeds. So one of them could've been turned into a Lycan.
