Hi all. I want to say something after reading this 22pages thread non-stop. And don't kill me...

I used to think that...I still think that Logan and Scott together would be...intersting. (And maybe I read too much slash fics)

Hello, fellow slash-fanfic reader. Welcome to the Hype! ;) :D

Lisea I said it once and I'll say it again:
Damn, this thread seems to keep on going...and going...

Yes, but what a good topic we have! :)

Ok I know we all love Jimmy's Cyke, however I think I'll post both some comic and movie version pics...

Yes I know at first I was horrified when I saw the pants I was hoping they cut the scene out with him wearing it but now I can live with it:D

Ofcourse I only examined the finer details of the drawings because you mentioned it :D, but yes ... um ... the pants are maybe a little tight there  The other thing I notice about the comic drawings based on movie cyclops is that ...maybe they should've just body painted Jimmy Marsden black :D I mean at the muscle detail seems to stand out more than the standard Uncanny comic version (even though yes its there too). :)

p.s. yes I also like that shot of Cyke above. Well heck I like all of them ...

Do they use the movie uniforms in comics nowadays?

~Liz

Someone said they used something similar in Ultimate but I haven't read them ..... I vaguely remember seeing thema ll in black uniforms with yellow X's and stuff but I can't remember if that was in an Ultimate comic or somewhere else. they also apparently going back to the old uniforms (I guess in Ultimate, though not entirely sure  )

That's Ok, Liz. :)
In fact I encourage you to post the pics. All I can do is post links

Yes, Ultimate is similar, in that the uniforms are black ... but they're not exactly practical (no more than any of the comic uniforms have been), particularly the women's. But then, these are MALE artists. LOL! For an example, check here. The first is of Jean, then page down to find Scott (there are 4 pictures total, 2 each). (And yes, folks, that is Jean in Ult-X; and no, I don't much care for the look.)

The artist is Adam Kubert.

The uniforms are in the Ultamite X-men "Return to Weapon X" books.

And the did use the movie uniforms as an inspiration for "New X-Men"

My picturedot account is getting stuffed, so I can't host many more pics.
