I just got back from the theater... My friend and I got into a discussion over the last scene, where Logan says "She did make a choice. It was you."

Where did that come from? "Oh, you're fiance's dead, but just so you know, she didn't cheat on you." Seems like exactly the wrong thing to say. It sounded so arrogant.

The whole last few scenes in X2 had a few mis-placed lines from Logan. "She's gone" could've gone from Scott, "We'll be watching" could've come from the Professor, and the above line shouldn't have been there at all. I guess they can't afford to take the spotlight away from Logan.

One other thing... All the times I've seen X2, I can't remember seeing Professor X at the President's office. I was busy staring at something else.

I agree. I thought that Wolverine was a Major ******* for telling Cyclops about Jean's choice after the fact. It was just Cruel and was soo not the right moment for that.

I think Bryan probably put that in there to put a nail on the coffin of Cyke/Logan/Jean triangle.

yep Liz, i totally agree about the wolverine line "we'll be watching", i burst out laughing when he said that coz it was sos stupid. it shouldve came from the professor and not logan.

We don't know what happened after they got to the mansion and before that scene ... we don't if Logan told him or not that he kissed Jean ...

I understand this way: Logan ( and possibly Scott ) felt that they were in competition for Jean , becuase she loved Cyke but was atracted with Logan ... and maybe he said that she chosed Scott to say that he , Logan, lost it ... but the strange is : he said that because he felt it or because she "died " ?
