No idea if its real but one comment I would make is that I would not have picked that font, for some reason it is giving me an 80s action film vibe.

For me, it has the space adventure look. And yeah its cute and a bit groovy so I like it. It also doesnt look like a fan made logo.

Lol at the adjectives cute and adorable being used to describe the logo/announcement.

Yeah.....I'm not sure that is exactly positive...lol

SQUUUEEEEEEE! OMG it's so fuzzy wuzzy I could DIIIIEEEEE!

There are lots of words I would never have thought would be attached to cbm like superhero dance off.

Clearly, good sir and/or madam, you are not familiar with the Batusi. Dancing superheroes are nothing new. :cwink:

I was about to say that the fakers have been pretty busy with this film but then I realised that they probably aren't any more busy than any other production, its just that there is no official information to drown them out.

I mean, holy hell. We have more fake stuff than we have more real stuff.

Has that...has that ever happened before?

It really feels like we'll never see anything official from this film.

Despite reasonably authoritative sounding reports, I find it hard to believe we'll really see a trailer 12 days from now.

Wouldn't surprise me if it does premiere with that movie, but they don't release it online at all and take down any bootlegs that show up.

That's exactly what I see happening.

:cmad:

THAT ADORABLE LOGO IS FAKE?! This is so infuriating.

It's like getting a new puppy for your birthday, and you take it outside to play, and you rub it's belly and it wags it's tail and it licks your face, and then you realize it isn't a puppy at all, it's just your stupid cousin Walt.

:cmad:

They seem to do that with Comic Con clips, but that's a relatively small room of people who see it once.

Once it's out in multiple theaters with multiple showings per day and new showings each day, it would be pretty hard to chase down and remove the continual flow of bootlegs.

And even if they are successful in getting them down shortly after they go up, a lot of people will be seeing those bootlegs and Fox would rather they see clean copies (and give them hits on their channel). So I feel reasonably confident that once it's in some theaters, it will be officially posted.

But I'm also a little skeptical that it really will be the 29th after Kinberg very specifically said Feb. 13th, but we'll see.

This is the trailer I'm curious to see the most,I knew that the AoU trailers were going to be fantastic but I really don't know what to expect from this one.

To everybody being negative that we're getting the Ultimate Fantastic Four's origin, Fox used Ultimate William Stryker before and that worked out okay and even Marvel Studios have used versions of Nick Fury and Thor that owe more to Ultimate than 616 to say nothing of the Chitauri appearing and comments that Aaron Taylor Johnston was to research Ultimate quicksilver for Age of Ultron.

Fact is, Ultimate did a lot right. The whole Donald Blake Thor thing was confusing to new readers and Ultimate Thor was a lot more streamlined. Nick Fury and Black Widow both having the Infinity Formula was contrived. Having Fury not have served in World War 2 makes a lot of sense and it also means that Black Widow feels a whole lot more special if she's the only character who took the Infinity formula.

And it's telling that the mainstream Marvel U is going to change in September to be combined with the characters and elements of the Ultimate U that worked. Ultimate Gwen was already teased.

That's not to say that there aren't things I disliked about Ultimate. I really dislike Ultimate Cable and Scorpion, I'm not a fan of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch's relationship either. The previous Fantastic Four suffered from using Ultimate Galactus instead of 616 since that wasn't a version of Galactus that I've ever been a fan of. But on the whole, Ultimate brought in a lot of really cool elements that I'd like to see in the 616 universe.

I can also do with some changes like Heinrich Zemo dying in the war and Helmut being his grandson instead of son, Cable and X-Man becoming one character, a chance for Jean Grey to return with a backstory that's far less confusing, opportunities to make characters who I've long despised like Triathalon and Feral cool, New Universe characters being rebooted in the mainstream U, etc which have nothing to do with Ultimate but would still be cool to have in a reboot.

People have been using the argument that other franchises have used their Ultimate....the problem with that argument is that not all Ultimate Comics are equal. UFF has had a few new fans come on, but for the most part has been panned by F4 long time fans from the start. This isn't something that they just came up with...they have been panning the UFF for years, and one of the reasons why it's sales have not even hit dismal in recent years.

Exactly.

Using elements of the Ultimate U is fine...concepts, design elements, etc.

But to probably base your entire movie on them, on comics that were just not good?

Not a good idea.

This guy is legit, btw. He leaked Chappie and Terminator Genisys trailer screens a couple months before they hit.

Here is thing if i had my way no film based on marvel comic would be using
elements from ultimate comics but every studio is doing it.

It's been known this film is basicly ultimate FF the movie. Now that doesn't
mean there won't be any elements of 616 in film.

The trailer will tell us everything.

Then we can make decsions on film.
