From what I've seen for episodic games was that you buy the season pass to get the episodes and they might have extra content but usually don't but the season pass for the main game includes the dlc and usually a few extras. Like in Bioshock Infinite with the season pas you got the three DLCS and a bit for the main game as well. The Season 1 Walking Dead Season Pass just gave you the episodes for a bit cheaper.

It's somewhat different, though. Most season passes are for additional DLC to the main game. This is the game, all four episodes priced at $5.99 individually, with some additional content that you won't be able to get by buying them individually. They may not even have it set up like a season pass where you buy the pass and get the episodes automatically.

EDIT: And do most season passes give you bonus content? I always thought it was more standard just to give you a small discount on content that would be released to everyone.
I get what you are saying but RE isnt the first game that has had this model. Look at TT games. Season Passes, net you a savings. I guess it will depend on the content, once that is revealed. Better not simply just be skins or something like that

If I were to make a guess, I would say maybe it's a Raid Mode or Mercenaries mode that you they'll put later for $10-15 or something for people who bought them individually. Of course, that would make more sense to do for the physical release, since it's $15 more than buying the whole package digitally. Hmm, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's something lame ass like skins.

Unless the game looks incredibly good and I just can't wait, I think I'll just wait for the physical copy when it's all said and done.

Wow. Claire looks hard Also, I hope Alyson Court reprises the role. I have a strong feeling it's not going to happen.

The teaser trailer is out for RE Revelations 2.

Looks better in motion than the stills.

Nah, Kiefer will be brought in because they need an actors actor for the role.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Episodic

Updated with the new trailer!
Don’t expect to play Resident Evil Revelations 2 all at once.
Capcom has announced that their new zombie-killing extravaganza will be a weekly, 4-part episodic game, with players able to purchase each instalment separately or all together. Each episode will cost $6 by itself, with a $25 digital Season Pass that includes additional content. Capcom says each episode “will feature hours of terrifying gameplay ending with dramatic cliff-hangers.”
A retail disc version of the game will be made available after all four episodes have gone live, and it will cost $40 and include even more extra content. Capcom hasn’t said exactly what that extra content will be.
The first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will launch in early 2015. The game will be available on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favourite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return to the horrors that haunted her in the past . Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save. Moira Burton, new recruit and daughter of Resident Evil legend Barry Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what’s led to them being taken to this remote island? Who else will they come across? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.

:cwink: But seriously, Claire looks older than Chris. :wow: She did not age as gracefully as the other big three. Also, for the 4th time in a row, Claire is stuck babysitting another kid. Sherry, the Indian Girl in Degeneration, and....Steve.:o

I may be mistaken, but I do believe it was mentioned in one of the articles that Claire's VO was recast.

The injection may explain that, Claire might be infected.

I can't wait for Revelations 2!

I'm glad Claire Redfield is back!

Few new deats:

4gamer recently sat down with three producers behind Resident Evil Revelations 2: Kawata, Okabe and Anpo. They discussed what players can expect from the game when its first episode hits sometime early next year.

First off, we have confirmation that the sequel will have no connection at all to the first Revelations, which is honestly somewhat disappointing to me, especially with how that game ended with its epilogue scene. The game will have players exploring various locations on the fortified island that’s been shown off.

Moira Burton, 20 years of age, is described as being unstable, making her and Claire’s team-up a little rocky at first. Moira won’t just be a secondary character, though, she’s actually going to figure largely into the game’s story. And I’m still betting on her Daddy getting his own playable scenario as a bonus mode!

The producers then move on to talk about some of the mechanics. It will be possible to switch between characters when playing single player. And while co-op will be available in the game, it will only be offline, which may come as a surprise.

Concerning the game’s slogan “evil is watching”, the producers reveal that there’s a third person (as expected) monitoring Claire and Moira using cameras set up all around the island. We will also be getting a more traditional horror experience with this game, where the focus isn’t on shooting all the time. Players will even start the game without any weapons at all. And speaking about the game’s new Afflicted enemies, the producers state that more information on them will be coming soon.

I wonder if we'll be seeing a return of the G-Virus. I saw Degeneration and was wondering if they will continue an element of that story concerning General Grande.

I always liked the G-Virus. I miss the crazy mutations you get from it. Having a massive eye as a weak point sucks though. By the end of it you look like something out of the Ghostbusters cartoon. :p

I like the G-Virus too, but with these Afflicted enemies, I think that is a thing of the past, now.

Has any one ever done a grenade launcher run in Resident Evil 5? How many shells would you need for a whole level and entire run?

I have 1,998 shells between two types. Is that enough?

If you want to play against the roaches, you better have the acid rounds, easiest way to kill them

Yeah back in the day but Im sure I did it with infinite ammo

No but I did a shotgun run with infinite ammo on my second playthrough. Mostly out of revenge. I just wanted to kill everything I didn't on my normal run.

Grenade launcher doesn't have infinite ammo. You have to buy the shells, that's why I was wondering how many shells it would take.

It's not unheard of that a RE game would feature more than one type of virus, or a virus taking on different effects depending on the host.
