Hmm...you know, in light of Mr. Robot, I could see Malek in the role, despite all the potential fervor that would come from people upset about an Egyptian playing Nygma, same way folks are up in arms about Zendaya supposedly playing Mary Jane.

I honestly don't think people would be that upset. Mary jane is much more iconic, so i understand some of the rage (even though i support it)

And, thinking about it more, given all the positive reception both Malek and Mr. Robot have received, especially in light of Malek's Emmy win, people would probably support it.

If people weren't up in arms about a black actor playing Electro in TASM2 (and I don't remember there being much of an outcry at all), I doubt they'd be upset at an Egyptian actor playing the Riddler.
