As you can probably tell by now I'm taking him in a completely different direction to 616 Wade. He isn't his lighthearted self yet.

I always loved the scenes when Wade got deadly serious and dark in the comics or games and I'm trying to take that idea and run with it.

I'm still working the details out. I have enough time to create a new version of the Soldier, but I have a good idea of what I'm going to do.

I don't want to start anything Civil Waresque, but does anyone else think that when these heroes meet each each other for the first time, a few fists should be thrown? I mean, if person A sees person B doing something superhuman, his gut reaction is usually to be afraid and kick the snot out of what he perceives as a threat.

I like it. But they would force themselves to team up when a seemingly greater threat like The Silver Surfer arrives. Speaking of which, I'm gonna have him undertake some "extracurricular" activites on his way to Earth. This way, all the heroes can be "aquainted' by the time he shows up. Of course, I'm not trying to rush any storylines

Character you would like to play: The Scarlet-Spider (Ben Reilly)

Powers: Ability to stick to walls,
Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, durability and agility,
Spider-Sense, and for the sake of the character I'm giving him organic webbing.

Brief biography of the character's history: Ben Reilly is a High School drop out, who barley managed to get his GED. He just got fired from his job, that wasn't even paying him minimum wage. And his girlfriend just left him. But to top all of this off he just found out he has cancer. But there is hope.
The doctors say if he lets them use an untested procedure on him he won't have to pay a thing. (Which is good because he doesn't have insurance.) But the procedure is potentially deadly. But what does he have to lose? Beside if it does work he'll be given the second chance at life he has always wanted...

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Because he's my favorite super hero.

2. I need to get involved in more RPG's.

3. Why the **** not??

What can you bring to this game?: A character everyone knows and loves with a twist because I have to change his origin.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Arial Narrow, Bold, Red.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as my time will allow.

Please provide a small sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 3 paragraphs long and contain at least 1 line of dialogue):

Ben sat on the edge of his bed. A broken fragment of the man he barley was. A tear rolled down his cheek as he stared at the test results. Cancer, he had six months at the most. Sure he may of given up his dreams but that doesn't mean he wanted to die. The worst part about it was that he would die alone. She had left him again.

Two Weeks ago.

"C'mon babe don't be like that," he said as he grabbed for her arm, "Ya know I didn't mean it."

"Regardless, if you meant it or not, you knew this would happen."

He looked at the floor in shame. Yes, he should have thought things through but he did it for their sakes.

"Ben, what happened to you? You used to actually care about us."

"I still do."

She shook her head at him then turned out the door.

Now.

That was the last time he saw her. He lied on his bed. He stared up in space. If there were any chance to save himself, he thought, I would take it. He hoped, HE PRAYED that something would work.

RING, Ring, Ring.

He jumped at the sound of the phone. He picked it up and put it to his ear.

"Hello," he said softly.

"Is this Ben Reilly"

"Yes..."

"This is Doctor Willis. I have some information that you may like to hear...."
