i know shes like 13...but think about it. steph wouldnt be in the movies for at least 10 years....as much as i like alexz, she would be in her 30's by the time the character was introduced

you also have dekker and lerman on your list. 10 years from now, they'll be too old as well. See it works both ways. Really, were trying to cast in the present, not 10 years in the future

you're all pushing it, IF any of these characters would be in it, it would be robin (dick grayson), and he would be like 14, not nightwing, or tim drake, or cassie, or orpheus. robin (and batgirl to a lesser extent) are the only ones essential to the overall mythology. and you're casting too old, why would batman adopt anyone over 17?

Okay We'll start with Robin

Robin (1) Dick Grayson - Original Robin, the whole circus thing etc.

Robin (2) Jason Todd - At some point Dick wasn't Robin anymore and Jason became Robin, he even died his hair and changed himself to be like Dick. Joker eventually "kills" him with a crowbar, until he returned from the dead.

Robin (3) Tim Drake - Fan of Batman and Robin in their adventures, eventually pieces together that Bruce is Batman. Dick is Nightwing at this time, and Tim is conviced Batman needs a Robin, and becomes so with Alfred's help.

Robin (4) Stephanie Brown - Originally the Spoiler, a love interest of Tim's, daughter of a bat villain Cluemaster, ends up dying as Robin only to reveal she faked her death or something. She sucks so meh

Batgirl (1) Betty Kane - Originally supposed to be Robin(Dick)'s love interest, but reconned into Flamebird instead.

Batgirl (2) Barbara Gordon - Commissioner's daughter, Joker shoots her, she becomes Oracle, yadda yadda yadda

Batgirl (3) Helena Bertinelli - Batman said no to her as Batgirl, she turns into the Huntress

Batgirl (4) Cassandra Cain - Most recent Batgirl

seriously though, when did nolan mention muniz? why on gods green earth would he do such a thing?

He said that facetiously in an interview. Basically drawing a parallel between people who mindlessly think he needs to put Robin into his movies and Hollywood idiots who want to cast muniz (or seth rogan or the superbad kid) in every role

He's basically saying he'd never put Robin in the movie... if he did, it'd mean he totally sold and in that case he'd go the full 9 and cast Frankie Muniz as total capitulation of his creative vision

Her resent incarnation since her come back is. she originally wasn't though. or at least the one what gone cause of infinite crisis wasn't. then again I wouldn't use her. unless it was just another person from his past. I'd probably use he as some that grew up with Rachel while Bruce was traveling, and not a love interest at all. maybe she can show up at Rachel's funeral. Barbra exists already as shown in batman begins there's no getting around that. I like barbra any way. i have a thing for red heads.

bale isn't stupid and proabably not 100% with comic lore. The concept of a little kid from the circus helping the dark brooding batman in a violent Gotham city is difficult but it could be done right. Who says it has to be Robin? Why can't it just be Dick? Dick as a kid is more important to Batman than Robin the avenger. How Dick deals with his loss highlights where Bruce went wrong when dealing with his. He's a light in Batman's dark world. This kid isn't just a mini Bruce he shows Batman that there is light at the end of the tunnel if kids like Dick are the future.

If Bale sees the script is doing it right and true to the world Nolan's created I'm sure he wouldn't chain himself to his trailer
