It's a good choice. I think he secretly wanted Black Adam anyway though. It seems to be a meaty role. I haven't seen him play a completely stoic character yet.

Indeed he has proven his worth as an action star I think he need to build on other aspects now.

I think they will. The Rocks whole attitude is almost anit-hero in nature so that is why he will fit so well into BA.

Unlike the biyscout type that is CM.

Johnson will make a great Black Adam. This project is looking up. Depending on who they cast as Billy Batson, Captain Marvel and The Wizard Shazam, it could turn out to be a very good flick, giving the characters a serious turn with just enough of a sense of humor. Could be very cool.

no way, not Molale dude, there are better actors out there that looks better who deserves as much of a break as he does. and isnt Shia too old to be Billy?

I don't the character of the Marvel will need to have a great indepth acting performance IMO. He just has to look and be heroic. That guy Molale looks like the Captain as well.

Billy Batson will need to have a good actor IMO.
