Oh yes, thanks. Seems like a useless change that. Anyway I see 7.11 average for now.

I counted 12 rotten reviews. And there's likely many more fresh that haven't been added yet.
The 86% on the left side of the screen seems to be the updated number while the other ratings take longer to update.

Average went up from 7.05 to 7.11

That is likely based on the 78 review count. I think there should be more now, but for whatever reason, the site is not updating properly today. I've never seen it this badly off.

But I don't know cause this is not working properly. You can see new reviews if you hit the button to see all critics reviews. You also see it on the side bar. But the main page is not updating.

I think with the origin story out if the way, the sequel has the potential to be great.

Either way, we're looking at another fresh film, continuing the Marvel winning streak, and that's all I need. This film's reviews actually make it or break it for me because I have very little concern for Captain Marvel as a character. My daughter loves her, though, so I would still have to see it. Then again, Venom got crappy reviews, I waited until Blu-Ray, and I, whether I like to admit it or not, thoroughly enjoy it. Still, this feels like we've been starved for MCU films forever...and it's not even been a year since Ant-Man & Wasp.

John Campea just said he puts Captain Marvel on Par with Wonder Woman in terms of quality...That is interesting.

That's the thing though, he doesn't consider WW to be great, he said CM is good just not top tier MCU.

John Campea must die.

But no, seriously: I’ve been praying for months that CM is even half as good as WW. If it is comparable, then I will love it.

I'm not, I'm just pointing out that fans always freak out when reviews aren't glowing.
True. Who cares though? Freaking out is within the law, but it’s time to be happy when good things happen rather than worrying about how everyone is reacting. I’ll take a $200m opening right now even if everyone freaks out and calls it a disappointment.

Even the good reviews tend to be very middle of the road or mixed leaning toward positive. How thrilling...
