Not particularly (although a couple were mentioned earlier on in one of the threads). TWS got some ridiculous positive reviews as well. I was just pointing out that it goes both ways just because I generally see negative reviews attacked a lot more than positive ones. Not just for this movie.

People here not responding well to the negative reviews is pretty much expected here. Of course fans here want the movie to be received well. I think negative reviews won't be attacked so much if the reasoning of the reviewers for not liking the movie is understandable.

He's also another person complaining about Lawrence being naked.. She's not naked, she's wearing a suit... also... SHE'S PLAYING MYSTIQUE.

Yeah I care a lot too,I love X-Men,and loved the reception so far,but I do not care about critics anymore,many of them really don't know how to be objective.

There are quite a few I think are worthless. The only reason I pay them attention (apart from some impact on box office as they reflect what the GA are reading about the film) is that there are about 200+ of them and they've usually seen the film before me. If that many people had watched it here I'd probably pay more attention to them as they are more likely to think like me.

I think at least I for the negative review i attacked just found the reviewer to be dumb. They can like or hate whatever. But his review was facepalm worthy and he did no research.

^ Agreed. I saw Days of Future Past and really enjoyed it. Many others will like or dislike it, that's normal. TWS didn't appeal to me but others thought it was groundbreaking. But I found that review to be quite sloppy and outlandishly 'out there'.

The reviews seem to be coming out a little slow, but I think Cannes has a lot to do with. I have checked out several of the online film sites and that is all they are talking about right now. Of course, tomorrow we should be getting some of the reviews from the newspapers and most of the online sites.

Trust me folks, the time travel works fine, and the plot and the time travel are NOT over-complicated. If anything, they went out of their way to make it simple. Any critic who doesn't understand it must not have been paying attention, as there's a huge dollop of exposition that goes over it all!

Apart from the few people on here who've seen it (and that's usually rare) it's usually the only indicator of how the film is going to be until I see it. Same as viewing trailers and things like that to me but just with more information. Even if my worst enemy has seen the film before me and is one of the only ones who has, I want to know what he thinks. Once I've seen it I don't care what anyone else thinks, otherwise it's all part of the build up.

Edit: also some reviewers write good reviews!

DOFP is pretty good. FIRST CLASS is still the best one, but this is easily the best Singer X film. His best movie in... decades?

I am shocked too considering how much he hates Singer. The movie has to be good. However, his X2 hate is ridiculous. I watched that last night and still found it to be the best X-men film.

Faraci liked FC though. I'm not surprised he likes DoFP. I think he could have gone either way with it.
