It would totally make sense if Homecoming was the one to break the streak. There is a lot stacked up against it and everyone, critics, fans, and casual movie-goers alike, know it. That's why I like how I've seen multiple reviews preface their praise with "against all odds".

Nice avvy, lmao!

Heaven Feige.

Nerd Report put out a negative review. Looks like it'll need 8 more after they count that review to get it back to 92%.

Could be that the writers of those reviews haven't told RT whether their reviews are rotten or fresh so until they're confirmed, they won't be posted.

Most big movies get ~100 reviews by premiere time, unless it comes out in another country first. That's what Wonder Woman was at.

I tend to see more then 100 by preview night just about ever time even if it is not out in another country first so I have to disagree about that. Also it must have came out in another country first because some people on hear have already seen it and it is still like 16 hours before any USA showings.

What did they say about it? I think the LA Times was a mixed review. They weren't fans of the teen stuff, but they had nothing but praise for Keaton.

You mean the one by Fred Topel? Because he's already been counted at another publication.
Let's see if their reviews will count for rotten tomatoes:

1. No. Scott J. Davis's reviews only count when they're published by HeyUGuys. This review is from flickreel.
2. No. Adam Starkey is not listed on RT, this review won't be added.
3. Yes, but it has already been counted.
4. Yes, and should be added soon.
5. No. Brandon Russel is not listed on RT, this review won't be added.
6. Yes, and should be added soon.
7. No. Damon Smith is a RT critic, but his reviews don't count when published by Irish News.
8. No. Jordan Samuel is not listed on RT, this review won't be added.
9. Yes, and should be added soon.
10. Yes, but this critic has already been counted (at another publication)
11. Yes, and should be added soon.
12. Yes, but it has already been added.
13. Yes, and should be added soon.
14. No. Davin Arul is not listed on RT, this review won't be added.

So 5 of those will be added to RT. Numbers 4, 6, 9, 11 and 13.

92%
Average Rating: 7.6/10
Reviews Counted: 117
Fresh: 108
Rotten: 9

It can now take 1 more rotten review and still stay at 92%.

iEquinox, your work in this thread has been awesome.

At this point it would need 3 straight positives to get rounded to 93 %. And 22 positives in a row to get back to 94 %. It's relatively safe to say that 93 % is highest this will now get.

Edit: If anyone would like to calculate the amount of positives needed to reach the desired percentage with given number of negative reviews, here's the formula:

F = R * (1/(1 - P) - 1 ),

where F = Number of fresh reviews,
R = Number of rotten reviews, and
P = Desired percentage as a real number between 0 and 1. For example 95 % = 0.95

Bought my tickets a few weeks ago, can't believe today is the day! Been waiting for this since they first announced Spidey in the MCU. Pumped is an understatement!

Back up to 93%, although it will need another 12 fresh reviews in a row to stay there once the next rotten hits

Average Rating: 7.6/10
Reviews Counted: 121
Fresh: 112
Rotten: 9

Another 20 reviews and it's still holding up in the low 90s. Only needs to survive a finite number of further batches of 20 reviews.

1 more hour left to watch it in an IMAX screen... It's almost here...!!!

On a strong streak, 23 fresh in a row now:
93%
Average Rating: 7.5/10
Reviews Counted: 127
Fresh: 118
Rotten: 9

One of those 5 fresh reviews we were expecting has also been added(Richard Roeper).

Names out of LucDisfilm19's list of fresh reviews that we're still expecting in the future:
Rick Bentley
Kyle Smith
Tufayel Ahmed
Ed Johnson-Ott

Nice. Needs a few streaks like that to balance out the batches of rottens.

Nice streak going on! These numbers are going to mean a lot going into the domestic OW.
