Something I found that gave me a good chuckle:

Old Lace doing the Snoopy dance =

Where did you find that? It is adorable. Reminds me of better times for RUNAWAYS.

For the record, the Whedon/Ryan "6 issue run" began in April 2007. It may likely be more than a year until it ends. :o

A site called Comicvine. Some of the galleries for the characters and teams seem to have art that weren't the most public or done by other artists and stuff.

As much as I love Whedon....epic lawl.

I don't even remember what happened last in this book, it feels so long since the last issue was released. I remember this book use to be in my top three.:csad:

The Runaways are in the early 1900s and that redheaded chick who can dance on air is adorable and has a crush on Vic.

You forgot; Molly is still just generally awesome.:o

All the Molly hate saddens me.

She represents the proverbial easy road to me from a storytelling standpoint. Any schmuck can make a little kid who wears funny hats and throws around the occasional l337-speak cute and funny. It's actually the same reason I hate Starman over in JSA. Crazy people are easy humor wells, and Johns hasn't done anything else with Starman to make me give a damn about him. It comes off as lazy. Molly's at least better in that respect, since Vaughan gave us that glimpse of some depth to her when she was hanging out with those other kids underground.

Stop being so angry and love her.

i dont see how people can love Layla and hate Molly... there pretty much the same, ones just a teen...

i:heart:them both

Thanks. Whedon has become alike to Mark Millar in that while I am sure his scripts are written on time, he has the magical ability to find THE slowest artist/inker/colorist teams ever so ALL of his runs seem to suddenly fall months behind. Least at Marvel. Just recall, if his "6 issue run" on RUNAWAYS had finished on time, the Moore/Ramos run would have began in November or December.

As for Molly, I'm always the neutral one with her. I don't "love" her, nor do I hate her. I understand why she is there and what she brought to the team. I am just curious if as time goes by, she will age faster than Franklin Richards too.

franklin not aging bothers the hell out of me... hes friends with the power pack and there all teens/late teens now... franklin should at least be 13-15, but then again we hardly see him these days, so maybe if were lucky and artist will randomly come along and show him being about that age, hell if anything he'd be more interesting being older now

Only Alex and Julie Power are teens, as far as we know. Franklin was younger than all of the Power kids, too, so if Jack and Katie are still pre-teens, Franklin would technically be about the right age.

hmm.... well isn't there suppose to be an in continuity power pack story in the works? i guess we will know then

though i do think it'd be fun to see a story where you have billy connors, molly hayes, franklin richards, and one of the power pack... it'd be like the young young avengers... haha

It was supposed to be an arc Cebulski wanted to do in The Loners, but that ain't gonna happen anymore. Maybe it'll be published as a separate mini, but I wouldn't bet on it.

When the Power Pack Series was launched Alex was 12, Julie 10, Jack 8, Katie and Franklin 5.

Okay, well that doesn't match up with their current ages. Franklin's like 8 or 9 now, which doesn't make sense with the fact that Julie's like 16 and Alex is college-aged.

actually thats about right...

she started at 12... shes 16 now thats 4 years, Alex is in college.. which now makes him 18-19, then you have franklin who was 5... who'd now be 9

You misread. If Silicon Surfer's right, Julie started at 10, not 12. Alex was 12. So that'd make Alex 16 and Julie 14 if Franklin's now 9. The former two are two years too young.

I say blame Franklin's wacky-ass reality altering junk and call it a day.
