never claimed that it could...but the way he rushed in like that was completely out of character...when we've seen him enter places he was always a lot more on point...

It does generally mean you wouldn't get caught off-guard wandering through a hall with no regard for cover, though. It's certainly a valid way to die, it just also happened to be a s***ty one.

I think what people would've preferred if he at least managed to pop off a couple or three rounds before getting killed. Maybe empty his clip, have the gun *click* empty before he goes "Oh shi-" and then get offed. You know, have him see it coming with a close-up to see how he comes to term with his impending death. Is he panicked, afraid, resigned or just annoyed? Anything but generic dead face. That's a waste of a good character and an even better actor.

‘Prison Break’ Series Finale Set for May 15

Fox will air the two-hour series finale of “Prison Break” on Friday, May 15, the network announced Wednesday.

Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly announced the show’s end back in January. At the time, the network indicated “Break’s” final round of episodes would air on Fridays starting April 17.

The network has since decided to bring back “Break” a week later, on April 24. As expected, it will air Fridays at 8, replacing “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”

“Break” then will wrap with a two-hour episode from 8-10 p.m. on May 15.

Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse,” meanwhile, will have its season finale on May 8.

In other Fox news, the network said the May 16 series finale of late-night series “Mad TV” will feature a guest appearance by Fred Willard, while alums Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Will Sasso and Debra Wilson Skelton will return to reprise their best-known characters.

“Talkshow With Spike Feresten” will air its second-season finale the same night.

Well, the season will be over by then so it doesn't mean it's canceled. Prison Break is just taking it's place instead of Fox airing reruns. But, we all know it's as good as canceled.

Were the show to get renwed, I think the simplest way to bring back Derek would be for the Derek of Jesse's skewed timeline to come back. Remember, it's been established that the reason Derek doesn't remember being tortured and experimented on the way Jesse remembered is because their timelines changed after they met and fell in love. At least that's how I understood it. Granted, if a different Derek came back, he'd probably come back as an enemy, given his experiences. He'd be even less trusting of Cameron, and would probably want to get John away from her and Sarah every chance he got.

I think you can't bring Derek back from Jesse's timeline. Jesse's timeline was only subtly altered, it really doesn't have major changes except for Andy Goode being dead and Derek being tortured.

maybe it was, doesn't change the fact that it was a ******ed move. I mean if that's how good terminator's are... then what about all the people who escaped them in previous episodes, with less equipment than guns?

I do not want them twisting the timeline to the point where characters who died can come back from an alternate future. That would just cause so many continuity problems, I don't even want them to go there. Derek is dead. He was an awesome character, and we're all pissed about it, but for goodness sake get over it!
