At what point in time did John jump too? Was Derek being sarcastic when he said he had never heard the name John Connor; meaning Connor hadn't rose as leader yet..?

Anyhow, if we get another season, having some of it set in the future is a great way to bring Derek back..and then part of the show will be with Ellison and Sarah in the present.

I want to know why Cameron gave JH her chip? Plus the Cameron of the future, shown in that last scene was obviously human-hence the dog not barking.

He jumped some time before John Connor became big, that's for sho.

I hope if they do set part of it in the future next season (if there is one), they up the budget cuz that last part looked cheap.

Maybe Cameron gave him her chip because it was the final piece of the puzzle needed for the time machine? Or had the right info in it to get John to the right place at the right, most influential time.

Wait, if John jumped forward, then he would have never became the great big leader, so it's an alternate timeline and could be during or after John sent the Reese bros back in the previous timeline.

Wait, now that i think about it, i think she gave him the chip because of the proposal "Will you join us"; the message Weaver had Ellison deliver to her. Remember she was in a hurry to get Ellison out of the room,before John heard anymore..? It was why Weaver knew that Cameron was in the basement with John Henry; Cameron had 'joined them'-whatever that meant.

I love the ending, i only wish that Ellison would have shown more horror when he saw what his boss Weaver really was!

I had a thought that Cameron's chip in the hands of John Henry could be because she need a new body(new Cameron body) or a mission to implant Cameron into future Skynet.

sooo... John Connor is now a nobody in the end? Having skipped past judgment day, he's just some kid in the future and Kyle Reese is the leader of the resistance? Are they saying Connor is pointless, and it doesn't matter if he was killed in the past because the next in line will just step into his place? Kind of makes the whole franchise's premise a bit irrelevant.

Should've just had John realize this, then blow his brains out. Now THAT would've been a conclusion

No doubt they planned to continue with a new season, where he eventually travels back in time to seconds after leaving (Back to the Future-ish) and the true timeline of him being the leader is restored. but if the show gets canceled...... that's it.

It was a great WTF moment. I kinda knew all along Weaver wasn't really a bad terminator. They can easily bring back Derek and Cameron if it gets picked up for another season... John comes back from the future but a couple of days before he left and save Derek before he gets killed.

Awesome, awesome episode we surely need a third season.

Hell I'll take 13 more episodes in season 3 to make up for season1's shorten season because of the writers strike.
