Just saw a trailer for this on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It looks like a fun movie and I'm going to go see it for Nic Cage, he looks like he's having a blast making the movie and I love him in anything yeah thats right I just said that.

On a serious note, whether it be the Wicker Man or Bad Lieutenant, Nicolas is one of my favorite actors. This doesn't look like much, other than hopefully a decent way to spend 90 minutes. Bring on that Saturday morning matinee showing!

Technically it's based on the original story, that Disney recreated with Mickey in the apprentice role. I thought Disney created the story at first, but had to look up some stuff to find otherwise.

i saw this last night....
after the lame looking trailers and pretty negative reviews...

it was actually VERY entertaining!.. i really liked it!
the entire cast was very likable so the movie never got bogged down by their scenes.

7.5 out of 10...

I also really enjoyed this movie way more than I thought I would...lots of fun...characters played well off of each other and I loved all the magic action. My boyfriend did not find it as entertaining...he kept wanting it to make it to the next level...bigger action but sadly for him it never happened...

It's Baruchel's voice at least in the three movies I saw with him ( Fanboys, Tropic Thunder and She's out of my league ) but it sounds worst in your description.

I might like it.....if I end up liking it . This film reminds me of The Dresden Files more than Dr. Strange.
