Okay, take off your Vince sunglasses for a minute and try to understand something here.

When you see someone you don't like a party or at some kind of event, you avoid that particular person right? If you see that person in your area you walk away or you don't bother showing up to avoid confrontation/drama right? I don't see anything wrong with Bret saying "If I see Shawn there I won't show up."

I've said it numerous of times when it comes to people I don't like. If I don't want to be in the same area as them I don't show up. Plain and simple, which is exactly what Bret did.

Bret showed up at the HOF. That's good enough if you ask me.

Of course it's good enough for you because you are wearing your Bret sunglasses, nice and pink and shiny...see how easy it is to just simply base your little posts around trying to ignore points.:o

And for the record, at a function with 100's of ppl when i am a fully grown adult i can simply go about my business and ignore the person there, of course i am not an immature wrestler still crying over getting screwed out of a fake title.

They hate each other, I don't see them settling things anytime soon. You say Bret is an immature wrestler crying over a fake title? You mean to tell me HBK, Hogan, HHH, Jeff Jarrett, and Stone Cold never cried over losing a fake title? :whatever: Hogan threw a fit because he had to job to Sting at Starrcade.

I seem to remember Triple H throwing a massive fit when he was told to drop the title to RVD or when he was told to drop it to Jericho.

Name on person HBK dropped the title to that wasn't part of the Kliq? Sid doesn't count because fans at the time were so sick of HBK that he had to drop the title to Sid.

Not to the point that they let it effect actuall real life functions, no:o

Get a clue. You think he really gives a dame about loosing a meaningless title ? He did nothing but good for the company, and they treat him like that. THAT'S THE POINT.

No you get a clue Carp since you are short of much else, he's in a fake business with titles that are passed via comity in a political hotbed, he needs to wake up and smell the roses, he got a fat ass load of money from WCW in a deal Vince negotiated for him, so save the tears, these are adults, act like it.

Yeah, okay. :whatever:

I seem to remember Hogan, HHH, HBK, and Jeff Jarrett go on and on about losing titles quite a bit and made it seem like they would die without the belts. The Rock, Jericho, Bret, and Eddie Guerrero were the rare breed that didn't ***** and moan when it came to jobbing to someone.

They put people over regardless of who it was.

Ermmm those are called promo's y'know the stuff they do to promote matches ? Eddie only had the belt once and gave it up b/c he couldn't handle the stress, there is a difference between wanting to get the belt within the business and letting being screwed out of it fester to the point you can't even got to a social function without acting like a diva:whatever:
Plus HBK put over Cena and Angle at Mania's and HHH has jobbed 3 Manias is a row so where is your point ? Bret wouldn't job to HBK when he was needed to so who's the pro ?:o

Bret jobbed to HBK at WM during the 60 Minute Iron Man Match. Where was the professional in HBK when he was told to drop it to Bret? Remember that mysterious "knee injury" and the "I lost my smile" speech? You forgot about that didn't you?

They both jobbed to people the fans could careless about or are tired of in general. Where are the jobs to Jericho, Orton, Hardy, Edge, and Kane? I don't mean jobs where interference plays a part. I mean the "clean" jobs that help that particular talent get over? Nice try. Once again I'm talking about the jobs to the wrestlers that the fans WANT to see? Not the ones that they boo or are tired of.

Are you talking about WM13 ? b/c for starters HBK had a doctors notice not to wrestle but the same guy got of his sick bed and put Steve Austin over the next year and lost 4 years of his career in doing so,try harder

This is just stupid, they both put over the NUMBER ONE man in the industry and helped cement him, the fans love Batista and HHH made him, Angle deserved the push and HBK gave him an iconic win at Mania and HHH gave Benoit his big moment at WM20.......Hardy and Kane are not main event so they didn't deserve those jobs, HHH screwed Orton i agree, Edge and HHH have never went one on one on PPV and Jericho beat HBK clean on RAW and wasn't worth the win over HHH in 2000 so you try again champ.

You actually think HBK would've done that if he was healthy? Only reason why he did it is because he had no choice. He would've made a big stink about it if he were healthy.

Fans love Batista? Since when? They cheered Batista at the time because they didn't want to stomach another Triple H title reign. And who could blame them? At that particular time Batista was better than any Triple H title reign.

Angle was already over at the time, so a loss wouldn't have hurt his push at all. So I don't count that win at all in terms of getting over. Jericho NEVER beat HBK clean on Raw. Orton interfered in that match-up which helped Jericho win the match.

What do you mean Jericho wasn't worth the win? He was made to look like a complete and total fool in his feud with HHH.

Only matches I care about for Summerslam are Punk/Morrison, Carlito/Umaga/Kennedy, Matt/MVP, and Chavo/Rey. The rest of the card I could really careless about to be honest.

I'm more interested in Punk/Morrison though. That could be the showstealer if it's given a long time.

hunter, seriously, shut the **** up. You are right and all, but if you dont reply, the ******s wont reply.

Fans cheering Batista, and him getting a loud pop whenever he shows up means they love him. Stop speaking for all the fans. The fans didn't want Triple H to win because he was the heel, and they boo him. Fans don't wanna see Shelton at the top. YOU do. YOU are the only one who thinks these things. It's always the same with you. Get a new ****ing tune already, Jesus.

Errr no, if HBK gave a crap about having the belt he'd have had it by now, he simply wants to wrestle and was only in that match b/c HHH was hurt, he put Cena over b/c it was right for business.

Do you not hear his pops and chants ?

No HBK passed out in the Walls of Jericho in the second RAW match.

What do you mean Jericho wasn't worth the win? He was made to look like a complete and total fool in his feud with HHH.

Which feud are we talking about ? in 2000 he was not ready to be ME and HHH was the number 1 man by a LONG way so he wasn't gonna be jobbed put to a blown up cruiser from WCW, in 2002 he was booked badly in the angle where he was put with steph and it ruined the feud but he was always gonna lose, i mean it was HHH's comeback, how in the hell else would it be booked ?

Wow...a lot of so called debate on here lately. I usually like coming in here and seeing what people are saying. Hell I'm really only a passing fan but I have to say looks like some lines are being drawn.

I find it rather funny actually it's like coming in here and seeing it's a wrestling match written out in front of me. You've got the Hunter Rider et al on one side and Carp Man on the other.

Not that anyone cares but here's my two cents. Last Sunrise and Carp Man I really don't see anyone on here touting Vince as the be all end all. Almost everyone admits that he's made mistakes and is making mistakes. I think most just think that he should get credit where credit is due. He's the one who really brought wrestling up to another degree. I haven't seen anyone saying that the product is perfect as is.

I don't even think that bringing in a new faction would work right now. I mean yeah it worked for WCW but I think it would be a harder sell now. For one thing with NWO weren't a lot of those guys acting as enemies when they were with WWE? Bringing 'em in a letting people see them as taking over I could see why people would want to watch that. But consider this WCW was on top for what 84 weeks but WWE was on top for how long before and after that?

I think the problem is that Vince thinks that he can get away with anything he wants and people will watch. THere's no competition in wrestling anymore that was worked with WCW vs WWE. TNA isn't close to be able to compete with the WWE right now, hell even i think it's pretty much garbage.

Like all businesses wrestling needs to evolve sometimes it just takes time to find what is going to work. I agree that Vince is on TV too much, that they should be pushing some of the "younger" guys, Cena has been pushed too much and forced on everyone. But remember VInce will always bow to the fans eventually, ratings faded and he came back and people watched so of course he's going to come out more if he thinks it'll get ratings up.

As for the whole Bret thing, as much as I liked the guy and respect him he is a baby for harping on it for so long, and so is Vince. But then Canadians seem to keep it in their minds to and so Vince will play to it. Yes HBK is a jerk for doing what he did and acting the way he did, but Bret really needs to let it go. It happened what 10 years ago? Time to move on, I think he has in some ways but going to the HOF ceremony and saying he would leave if he saw HBK that's just lame. You know what you're there for the fans because they wanted it because people respected what you did enough to want you there get over yourself.

Again just my 2 cents and the way I see things. I shall leave now and go back to lurking and enjoying the "debates" the little shots you guys make at one another and of course the diva pics.

So that's half the card ? oh and Matt/MVP isn't happening but no love for super worker Finlay vs your boy Kane ?:wow:

I'm more interested in Punk/Morrison though. That could be the showstealer if it's given a long time.

It could do if they don't make a complete cock of it like they did at the last PPV by botching a load of stuff.

No, I don't hear the pops or Batista chants. If he's getting them it's only because he's feuding with Khali. Seriously who gives a flying **** about Khali anyways? Where's the chants when he was feuding with Edge? Where were the chants when he was feuding with Eddie? There were none because fans could careless about him to begin with.

I don't recall HBK/Jericho having a second match. The match I remember was when Orton gave HBK the RKO and then he passed out in the Walls of Jericho. In which I do not call a clean finish in anyway shape or form, and where were his clean jobs to Shelton?

The Jericho/HHH feud I'm talking about is the one when he was Undisputed Champion.

I'm always a loner on any board. :woot: Sometimes I have backup, most times not. Yes it is like a verbal wrestling match. I'm the in betweener. Can be face, can be heel. The one everyone loves to hate. On the other side you have the heels. In the end it's all good. :cwink:
