-- Recently released WWE writer Dave Lagana is getting ready to move out to California to look for a new job.
-- Ron Killings probably won't be starting in WWE until at least after WrestleMania. WWE told him to fulfill all of his independent bookings through the end of March. Killings still has some bookings for AAA in Mexico.
-- Big Show recently paid a visit to WWE's developmental territory in Tampa, Florida Championship Wrestling.
-- Never fear Vickie Guerrero fans, she will be making her return to television on next week's SmackDown.
-- Triple H is favoring a match between himself and John Cena at WrestleMania, instead of a match against Randy Orton. Michael Hayes is suggesting that they promote the match like boxing by calling it "HHH-Cena II". Also, Triple H wants to turn heel at some point in the near future.
-- Former TNA wrestler Chris Harris signed a contract with WWE on Tuesday. Nothing yet on what plans they have for him and when he'll be starting.
-- Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter did a poll on his website, WrestlingObserver.com, asking site visitors if they believe John Cena is being honest with his assertion that he's never used performance enhancing drugs before in his life. Only 9% of voters absolutely believe that he's never taken performance enhancing drugs before in his life. Here are the final poll results:
- I believe for sure John Cena has never taken performance enhancing drugs: 9.1%
- I believe for sure that he has: 47.4%
- I believe he probably has, but I can't say for sure: 33.5%
- Possibly he has, but I don't believe so: 10.0%
-- Spike TV officials have noticed the high quarter hours ratings the women of TNA have been garnering on Impact the last few months (the women matches are often the highest-rated segments on Impact), and they're looking to take advantage of that.
Over the last two months, TNA and Spike TV officials have been talking about giving the TNA Knockouts their own spin-off weekly one-hour program. As of late, talks have gotten really serious so it's looking more and more likely that it will happen sometime down the line.
Should TNA start a Knockouts spin-off showcase show, they will be adding even more women to the roster. They only have ten women in wrestler roles at the moment (Angelina Love, Awesome Kong, Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Jacqueline, ODB, Payton Banks, Roxxi Laveaux, Traci Brooks, Velvet Sky).
-- A fan asked Ms. Peyton Banks on her MySpace page if she's signed a contract with TNA, and she said that she's actually not. Banks wrote, "No, im not signed but I am fine with that."
-- Rumors regarding Raven's apparent departure from TNA appear to be untrue to a degree. He's still under contract to TNA, but they don't really have any major plans for the 43-year-old, reports PWInsider. Also, Raven has set one person to handle independent booking inquiries for him in the near future, so it would appear that he's planning for life after TNA.
