The Force Awakens The Star Wars Planets. Where should they return?

disagree dude.

What went on Tatooine was fundamental to developing vader.

same for Luke.

It's also a reoccurring place for a reason.

And yet was not in Star Wars film widely recognized as the best, The Empire Strikes Back.

No Tattooine, no need. Anakin's story in the PT could've been exactly the same had he not been from that planet. It was just for familiarity's sake. Gimme some post-Yuuzahn Vong conversion planet.

All new Locations,i wanna see some very strange alien planets with a lot of flora and fauna.
Another thing is that they have to bring up more non humanoid looking Aliens.

The dark and dead world of Korriban, homeplanet of the Sith. Specifically, the ruins of the Sith Academy and the necropolis called the Valley of the Dark Lords. It would be nice to see Vader's empty mausoleum.

Others that could be included are:

Dromund Kaas, the ruined planet that was the seat of the Sith Empire during the Old Republic.

Tython, the birthplace of the Jedi Order.

Thape, the birthplace of the Dai Bendu, the order that predates the Jedi.

Lehon, homeworld of the Rakata, the species that created the hyperdrive and uplifted the Sith.

Dathomir, a darkside world, homeworld of the Kwa, an ancient civilization older than the Rakata that built the Infinity Gates, a type of interstellar network superior to hyperdrives.

Terminus, a nexus world on the edge of known space, home to numerous traders, smugglers, etc,

Mandalore, self explanatory.

I think at some point you have to re-visit some of the planets, while introducing new ones.

Don't get me wrong..I don't really want to see it. But it is important..in fact are there not some other force related reasons for it's prominence? (not a EU expert)(besides te home to skywalkers)

Personally , I'm a ROTJ guy..I just love the space battle.

There are also some simple cinematography reasons why the desert world is typically chosen.

I would love to see Korriban...hell ya

Coruscant, Tatooine and Kamino for the return and I guess Yavin if you can call that a return visit. Korriban, Ilum and Mandalore for the new planets

Tatoonine but hopefully briefly. Come on... No one liked Tatoonine in this universe. Even Luke hated it. It's the Barstow/Bakerfield of the universe.

Ya if there is a bright center in the universe Tatoonine is the planet farthest from. Let's go to new places!

I'd like to see something where two Padawan run off from the new Jedi Order to explore the ancient ruins of Korriban, just to see what all the stories said about it. They go missing, leading an aging Luke to seek them out on the planet.

I'm just hoping for a brief appearance of Tatooine as well. Maybe the movie can open there and then goes to new places.

I'd love to see Hoth again. It'd be blatant fan-service to go back there, but the thought of a lightsaber duel in the snow just gets me all riled up, and it's something we haven't seen in a SW movie yet.

Coruscant, seemed to un star wars to me in the new tril..and I generally disliked the scenes there.

I loved Coruscant.

Yes and this can play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2PWvzU2JUU

Doesn't necessarily have to be Hoth but a Lightsaber duel in the snow would be a sight to behold!

Maybe showing Luke looking out at the suns again? The last time he looked out at them he felt hopeless. Now look how far he's come. I think it would be nice to re-visit that scene.

Given how those suns visually link the PT and OT, I think having Luke being the new trilogy looking at them, in a totally different place to the previous twice he's in that spot, would be poignant.

Agreed.

Also, someone mentioned Dathomir. Another great planet to explore.

I'm not anxious to see Naboo again, I think it's served its purpose. And hell no to Endor.

I would like to see planets with a significance when it comes to the Force. Looks like Dagobah had some secrets that could be unraveled.

I was full-heartedly against seeing the old cast in any form in the new films. But you just made me reconsider. I'd love to see that.

I think revisiting Tattoine is necessary, to reinforce the theme that the hot, dry desert is the cradle of the Star Wars civilization, much as it is to ours.

Definitely Corellia especially with the great Corellian space ships Han mentioned at the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Sullust?
Mon Calamari?
Nar Shaddaa would be awesome.
Dantooine?
Onderon?
Mandalore?

Kashyyyk definitely has to return, the few scenes that it was in during ROTS were great. & what's Star Wars without wookiees? TPM & AOTC...that's what it is.

I don't care where it is, as long as the planet's environment doesn't look like greenscreen. I want a tangible environment that feels real, no matter how alien or foreign it looks.
