Come on Hugh get your ass to Fargo, ND and come see it with me

One thing I like about Superherohype over IMDB.com and places like that is LESS trolls.

You can actually say what you want here without ten million trolls bashing you.

Pointless threads on how the movie sucks and is the worst. Just Stupid!

I applaud this message board.

I will never set pointer back at IMDB.com again for messages.

Fricken TROLLS!

Don;t get me wrong, we all disagree but people riddle certain message boards just to mess with people. They could care less, they just like to light fires.

Hehehe...just remember...never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers...

Just avoid those places if you wanna discuss a movie in a...sane way.

I saw it last night. It was better than the previous wolvy movie (not hard to beat) and I did enjoy, but it was ultimately forgettable to me. I felt the third act was kind of flat. Also there were way too many shots of Wolverine getting slashed in the face and then angrily turning back to face his opponent. I know that's kind of his shtick, but it got old for me.

Then Wolverine is not the character for you I'm afraid, he does that a lot.

Does anybody know or remember from the film what happened to the sword Logan was given by Old Man Yashida but proclaimed to come back for?

I was dissapointed more wasnt made of it and that Logan didnt use it at some point or that I missed it, was it the one Yukio picked up and used against Shingen?

Just got back from seeing it...

OMG!!! :wow::wow: that was a FUN ride. Hugh, as always, does everything he can to embrace the character and he just looked so flippin' awesome. I loved the level of Wolverine's brutality and that he was able to just really let loose. I thought Yukio was also awesome, such a little spitfire able to really kick some ass.

Would gladly see this movie again in the theater (if I get the chance), gave it a 10/10 - it delivered on everything I was expecting and then some :woot:

I felt the same way Silver. Right now I am trying to figure out another way to see it again but my kids schedules are a killer. I just want to see it again and again. I want to support this great film also as I have been telling everyone at work that it rules.

I just got back from seeing TW and I had fun and I give it a solid 8 out 10. I thought Yukio was cute and she was all kinds of kicking ass! Markio was alright. But then there was Jean...and man, her last scene made me cry all the way through. As well, Hugh was amazing as Logan/Wolverine. I think this was his best film to date.

Man wolverine was awesome in this movie. No mercy. I loved it

Btw, I cant believe how many people brought kids to see this

I know right :D. I couldn't believe it either. Lots of cursing, blood, sex hotel, threesome about ready to happen. Very adult oriented movie.

That's how I felt about First Class. And this one ups the adult-oriented material tenfold.

I hope people start to understand these new X-movies are not tailored for kids. There's no way in hell I'd let mine watch them (they're 9 and 6).

The guy has knives coming out of his hands for goodness sake. And its rated pg-13 anyways. Ugh, some parents just dont think. One little boy who was about 6 leaned over to my girlfriend during one of the fight scenes and said " this is not like any of the other ones!" lol poor kid

Agreed. The fiance and I said if we had kids; there's no way we'd take them to see The Wolverine.

Thankfully the avengers was pretty kid friendly minus some language. The violence wasnt too bad

Well that's not really the parents fault. Blame Origins for being uber kid friendly and Fox has literally been marketing this a sequel. Same tone, feel, etc.

My parental rule of thumb is: No toys = not kid friendly

Marvel Studios movies = all audiences

Fox's (new) X-universe = adults

And I am 100% ok with that

Thats true, but the parents are still somewhat at fault. I could tell just by the trailers that this looked to be darker than other x-films.
I'm suprised none of them walked out after wolverine got his skin burned off and then stabbed a mans hand with a poison arrow. :p

Hah you're the first person I've seen to say the trailers looked dark. Good on you for noticing, they had me fooled

When I watched The Wolverine last Thursday, there were kids infront of me.

I took my 10 yr old niece to see The Wolverine. She loved it. I don't think the movie is particularly aimed at kids, but I didn't see much reason to exclude them watching the film.

Haha yeah, i did think the action looked generic and boring and the movie as a whole looked kinda passable just from the trailers. I could tell it looked a bit darker though. And then thankfully the whole movie turned out to be great and just the right tone for wolvie. I wouldnt really care to see an R rated wolverine movie. This movie proved that you can be pretty dark and violent and still be pg13. Although on the other hand i still wanna see a crazy berserk rage moment for logan where he just goes wild aand shrugs off bullets and tears some fools up.
