the bromance with Ruffalo is strong! :woot:

after my second viewing all I can say is
cap fans have no fear steve has had a massive power boost, as I said in the thor thread cap is now officially super human, he is on par with drax in terms of strength but he has more mobility and fighting skill! he is also holding his own in korea against the last ultron before the vibranium upgrade, I mean hes picking him up throwing him like 20 feet and getting him in headlocks etc cap has been done proud :woot:

hahaahahahahah these guys are hilarious, you can clearly see that they really have a good friendship as a team both on screen and off.

Really annoying he couldn't life the hammer. Pretty much every comic book reader knows he can.

I think they gave a nod to it in the party scene and are waiting for him to do it in one of the IW as the big surprise moment for his character. I'm not sure why everything from the comics needs to be done right away and can't be held off for a later film.

Whedon pulled the biggest dick move in all of history with Cap.
Steve: Avengers...*cut to credits*

Me: YOU *****, I'LL KILL YOU!

So I finally got the "Walk it off" line. It wasn't directed towards any individual member it was to the whole team. As in if one of the team mates gets killed don't stand there mourning remember the world is at risk here and "walk it off" or in other words "keep fighting".

I swear everything Cap said was so...Cap like. I've said this before in the past but they casted everyone so perfectly.

"Are you napping?" I like how Cap always says stuff like that to Thor. "What? you gettin sleepy?" etc

I like how Cap held his own against the bots. I mean what are those things made of? He was handling them like card board?

Unless those Ultron drones were made from the same material as Cap's shield, I don't see why Cap can't destroy them.

Hm, understandable. Dude threw a bike like a tomahawk, talking into account the amount of force and strength he'd need to do that, I'm no scientist but I'd say it's enough to knock a drones lights out.

Scarlett Johansson needs to apologize publically for this instance of dork-shaming. I can't believe in this day and age there are still women who call men dorks. #boycott-avengers :o

I think Evans should apologize again for calling Steve a virgin! :wow:

Via Entertainment Weekly:

Chris Evans has an unusual theory about his scrawny soldier-turned-red, white, and blue hero: “He’s probably a virgin,” the actor says. “I don’t know when it would’ve happened!” We remind Evans that in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, he’s sent on USO propaganda tours with an entourage of dancers. “Maybe one of those girls blew his mind!” he says with a laugh, but maintains his theory. “He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter and he’s probably a little more old-fashioned in that sense. He’s a very human guy. That’s what I like about him.”

“Six Secrets from the Set of Avengers,” Entertainment Weekly, May 1, 2015, page 11.

Also, Chris Evans playing with mini Thor!

They are saving for when it is going to have the maximum impact.

Imagine if in IW the Avengers are all down and out and defeated and Cap emerges from rubble carrying Mjolnir and shouts 'that' Avengers battle cry as rallying call to his team mates.

*goosebumps*

Maybe because he hasn't got it on with the chicks since 1942 he's not yet worthy. Makes sense.

Man, cannot even begin to describe how relieved I am that we saw a TWS power/skill level Cap in this movie. Truth be told I actually find the 1st Avengers flick to be painful to watch in that respect, such is his 'de-powerment'. So glad that Chris had a word to Whedon.

I hope the other Chris (Hemsworth) had a word with Whedon as well, because I found Thor to be rather weak when we consider what he can actually do.

I guess noone saw the clip with Thor

flying down to save a woman Superman style, throwing her 100s of feet upward to Cap, then lifting the car she was in back up after that

How much more powerful should he be? Like spin the fn Earth itself? :)

The Avengers was basically a "lets see if this will work" film. Its pretty damn good for that imo.
