I'd love to see Bizzaro in a future move. That would be pretty cool.

All I know is I don't particularly care for the idea of Superman debuting BECAUSE of an alien villain attacking Earth. I like his beginnings to be a little more real world. First, we deal with the superpowered man who saves lives, THEN we deal with stuff like aliens and robots.

so you say make it more like Superman: The Movie when he debuts?

so it's Superman Begins after all!?,story may be generic But there's still tons of potential to make the film overall big&top quality!

Indeed. It would need handled well but I trust David Goyer and Jonah Nolan with the scripting of it, they have practically read my mind for this movie.

Are you familiar with the movie Charly, made in the 1960's starring Cliff Robertson? If not, the film is about a mentally handicapped person being given a miracle that turns him into a genius, but he comes to find that the drug wears off over time and despite his frantic efforts to come up with a solution before his intelligence disappears, the film ends with him being mentally handicapped again. It has a great love story, and after gaining intelligence he becomes disillusioned for awhile after realizing how cold the world is.

Well take that concept, and Bizzaro is created his a perfect clone physically. Lex has Bizzaro tortured and mis-treated at first, and then sets himself up to become Bizzaro's "friend" to do his bidding. Over the course of the story, as Bizzaro begins to physically breakdown fragments of Clark's feelings and memories come to Bizzaro. More so the feelings than anything. The love he has for Lois and the Kents, that he is good. I would set it up so that Bizzaro had to sacrifice himself to save Superman at stories end and you could tell a good love conquers hate story.

with Goyer writing I'm sure he would know how to handle Bizzaro...he hasn't let me down yet

that would be pretty cool. Bizzaro starts out perfect, no flaws, and then begins to degrade throughout the film...awesome idea

I can see how this movie could lead other villains.

Two military characters are in the movie. What if in response to Zod and Superman, they begin to make plans to protect the world now that they there are aliens? This could lead to them turning to Lex for his ideas and technology.

It could lead to the creation of Metallo, a weapon against Superman any other potential Kryptonian threat. Maybe even Parasite. Bizarro. Maybe even the Elite.

If there was a character like Bizarro I would have wanted to see just an evil Superman clone sort of like was in Superman III or the Superman: Doomsday movie.

And to have Tom Welling play Bizarro Tom was always better at playing a villain then Clark!

While it is true that Welling was better at playing evil Clark because he loosened up, no.

If Bizzaro is used, I'd cast Joe Maginiello in the role. He loves Superman and it would be a nice consolation prize.

I don't know if Joe would look right as Superman or Bizzaro

I'm so glad that the whining of fans for a modern origin is finally getting taken care of :D

I like the idea of the goverment turning to Lex in the sequel. He could create a whole army of metahumans such as metallo, parasite, solomon grundy, etc etc.
