Wanting to cancel someone because they took a photo with someone? We really have hit a new low as a society.

Yeah, it’s totally cool to pal around with a guy who tried to overthrow our democracy, lied to the public for a year about the pandemic and got hundreds of thousands of people killed, and promoted so much racism against Asians and Asian-Americans that hate crimes have skyrocketed. But not watching Rocky IV anymore? That’s the real crime. How low we hath sunk when we can’t rock out to Eye of the Tiger just because Stallone apparently paid the $200,000 Mar-a-Lago initiation fee to suck up to a white supremacist.

I guess if Stallone posed for pictures with David Duke or Richard Spencer, you’d be fine with that too. Then again, those two have killed fewer people than Trump so maybe that’s not as bad.

Look there are few people who hate Trump more than me for about 700000 reasons but it will take more than a picture for me to cancel him right now. I think it might be a good idea not to discuss this here as it could go down a very dark path.

That’s fair. I’m not even saying that people should cancel him or hate him. But I find it infuriating when people act like the “real” problem is when people get upset with someone over something crappy that they did. People don’t need to just get over it if they don’t want to.

There was/is no Canceling of Stallone over this...the only thing is people on Twitter reaction the usual way about it.

This whiny "buhu cancel culture" is more annoying than anything.
On every corner about everything "buhu cancel culture" when it isnt a thing 95% of the time.

If only half of the people would actually be cancelled, that would be neat...but that isnt sadly.
Whining about "cancel culture" is more a thing than cancel culture itself.

Also word goes around that the Stallone thing is fake, so there is that...people either way overreacting and whining about something.

You dont expect such a level of trust from WB, that cant be just because of his track record.
The man must have shown them something that was so good that WB put their faith in him...that makes me very excited for the movie, even more than im already are.
