Arrow The Summer Glau/Isabel Rochev thread

They need a full-on lesbian super villain at some point, that's just like "What do you idiots see in this guy?" and consistently throws the other females sideways glances when they're swooning over him instead of fighting.

Ahh
That ravager face I believe is Summer Glau

Nyssa?

Nyssa > "Isabel"

What I liked about Nyssa is they brought on a D-list character for an episode, she did her thing well, and packed up and left for the time being. I thought Nyssa was bad idea in the comics but here on Arrow they used her well (so far). Despite "Isabel" having more time she's been disappointing and now is just Slade's sidekick.

I think the writers of this show get their ideas from the internet messageboards and obviously from their derivative Nolan brothers fan fiction. "We can do it better" they think.

The sooner this character is gone the better. I think I even like her less than Waller at this point. At least Waller is portrayed as a leader of some bureaucracy and not portrayed as Slade's sidekick. Yet.

Eh. I'm not convinced that she won't, at some point, **** Oliver. Or at least engage in a threeway involving Sara. :o

Not that they interacted much, but she doesn't seem in any way interested in Oliver or someone like him.

Oh god please no. Please no! That **** is the worst.
Her gayness can be cured!

Ugh

We actually don't know if Nyssa is attracted to men. I don't think she cares about gender.

What, the gayness of her being in a relationship with Sara for a number of years? Because remind me whose bed Sara has been sleeping in lately...

I don't actually recall the scene where Nyssa pointed out to the audience where she lands on the Kinsey scale.

Yeah they never actually confirmed that Nyssa was a lesbian. She could also be bisexual like Sara is.

I agree with the complaints in the review thread that Isabel should have gotten more development before the big reveal, but I think Summer pulled off that scene really well, enough for me to buy right into her, the way she laughed when Ollie threatened her and had her bent over the desk was great.

Ravager confirmed

So awesome! :D

At Sara's suggestion, Oliie will be like "Eh, whatever, another day another vagina."

Well, I'd imagine that all that martial arts/ninja training could be put to "other uses" besides just kicking ass and killing people.

Isabel Rochev is not secretly Rose Wilson.

Guess Isabel is just Arrow's first version of Ravager. Just like Billy Wintergreen was Arrow's first version of Deathstroke.

so she's [BLACKOUT]a fake Ravager[/BLACKOUT]?...as there was a fake deathstroke?

So, Isabel
did have an affair with Robert Queen. Like father like son I guess.
:cwink:

She could have been Ollie's step mom! :D I hope we get to know more about exactly what went on and how she met Slade, I'd love to see some training flashbacks.

I wonder if she only dons a costume due to where she is at now having gotten Slade's blood in her and by extension the Mirakuru.

I love how her reasoning for the stuff she's doing now is absolutely shallow as ****. Not every villain needs some tortured backstory that makes you feel sympathy toward them and understand the **** they're pulling. There always needs to be someone who is like "My boyfriend wouldn't abandon his family for me! I'M OUT TO DESTROY ALL OF THEM!!!"

It's unfortunate that Oliver is now weiner-cousins with his dad, though. :o

She's crazy, a highly trained bunny boiler, nothing wrong with that I agree. I would just like to see some more of it fleshed out.

You want well written motivations for the villains? I think you are watching the wrong show for that. :woot:
