I wonder this means Disney isn't going through with their remake series.

I mean, Percy Jackson and Goosebumps apparently kick Star Was and Marvel's ass. That's probably why they just greenlit the Holes series. Probably still coming.

I keep forgetting Percy Jackson exists. 😭

Maybe it’s because I had a really, really bad day, but that trailer didn’t really get me excited.

Its one of those “we’re holding back the real goods for later” kind of trailers like Gunn’s Superman trailer. This is just to tell people Daredevil is back.

Do the shows get more than 1 trailer? I cannot remember how many say Moon Knight and such got off hand.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with the trailer? It has a dark and gritty feel to it, which I thought we wanted from Daredevil...?

I wonder if Secret Invasion and the "Marvel is bad now" thing has just taken such root that even a perfectly good trailer like this has people skeptical. There is just no more goodwill left.

I can't speak for everybody, but show looks great to me. I can see being skeptical with the creative reboot and such, but for my money, looks like they righted the ship.

Now Avengers Doomsday, that is probably a no sell for me :o

I can only speak for myself, but the supposed “grittiness” here still has a kind of MCU gloss over it that makes me think it’s only gonna be surface level at best, and still end up as a pretty standard MCU Disney+ show with some darker/cooler moments like Moon Knight.

But you’re not wrong about the goodwill either. It’s entirely gone for me, and nothing we’ve heard about the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of this show suggests to me it’s gonna do anything to win it back.

In short, I will remain skeptical until they give me reason not to be. And this trailer wasn’t it.

I mean, they lost me when it was originally announced Woll and Henson weren't returning. Its that type of creative decision along with focusing on bringing back D'onofrio and Bernthal that makes it really, really hard to trust what they are doing on the show. Add a clear downgrade in cinematography, its a tough sell. Burning me like that takes a lot to win me back. and nothing I've seen has come close.

Who do we blame for the Bat villains names being pronounced wrong in the Nolanverse? Goyer was supposed to be the comics expert.

Hasn't the pronunciation of Ra's Al Ghul always been a subject of debate?

Falcone... I have no idea how they arrived at that pronunciation.

This is off topic but I cant believe there are still people out there who think Bucky should have gotten the shield over Sam. I can't even imagine how cringe and awkward that final scene in Endgame would have been had Steve given the shield to Bucky with Sam, the guy who stood by him for four movies, standing right there. That would have narratively made no sense not mention the optics would have looked really bad.
