I don't mind it, but I'd prefer to keep the yellow.

They don't even need to change the colours of the suit really. The reason it looked so de-saturated was because of the way it was filmed rather than the problem with the suit, and with a different cinematographer this time I don't think we are going to have that problem. I would like to see the \S/ on the back of the cape. I think the black design from the New 52 could look cool.

Word is that the film will have the same look as MOS. So, if they want the suit to look brighter on film, they'd have to change to the colors.

One of the problems with the de-saturated look in Man of Steel is not just the suit but also the actors. It makes them look really pale. So I upped the saturation a little of the rest of the shot too.

Then again, the red looks a bit too saturated - almost neon. I middle ground between the two would be good.

Usually, I don't like the colors punched up that much, but for some reason I'm liking the neon look to it. A feast for the eyes.

It might look different to you and me. My laptop screen isn't great, so I might have overdone the saturation a bit too much. It looks fine for me though. I also did these if they look better to you:

I wouldn't mind if they brightened it up a little,but I don't think it's really necessary.

Not usually a fan of color edits, but this one is sublime. Perfectly captures the liveliness of the character without crossing into the camp terrain. I so very much wish Snyder opts for this palette moving forward.

It wouldn't feel right to have both characters share similar aesthetics.
