If I recall correctly only during the night. And that, well, makes sense. In daylight scenes it looked red to me.

Heh, I'll trust you on this, as I didn't really pay that much of an attention. I was glad that there was no salmon shade in the like in MOS, though.

Actually, you might be the one who is correct. I've only seen the film once. I just went back and looked at some screenshots. It might not be as bad as I remembered. Perhaps it's that photo of Superman standing in the rain that has brainwashed me.

Anyway, I've seen the film multiple times, but it's been a while (and my memory is not what it used to be )... I'll pay attention to it the next time I watch it.

I think it's easy to see the Supes suit as having zero color because unfortunately so many of the scenes happened at night. The day scenes all look quite decent, although slightly grayer than natural probably, but even that could be debated.

It looks red enough to me here, but I guess it could be more vibrant or brighter red, especially the cape.

Speaking of cape, I think there is another change in the JL suit - I might be mistaken, but the cape appears more velvety, a la MOS, again, to me.

We know the real red of the suit. If it looks purple, it's likely more the filter then the suit itself. Also I think it's just unavoidable unless you go for a heavy orange. Deadpool has a nice red suit and it still turns purple. Blue filters are just going to do that.

1.When Superman's coming out of the scoutship in MOS over Jor-El's voiceover.

2.Batman on top of the ledge with the sniper rifle...when that scene kicked in with the epic score I almost ****ed myself.

It's hard to believe how far we've come from some of the strange concepts of JJ Abrams' Superman film

Or even some of the early ideas for MOS. I'm more than glad with what we have now. Though I wouldn't mind seeing some of the ideas for those concepts come back for a future Elsweworlds style movie.

Maybe one of the MOS pieces could be the basis of Regime Superman in an Injustice movie?

This is so bad. What is with CW and their love for leather? Seriously why do they always replace the colour red to maroon?!…

I really hope Supergirl gets cancelled. It never even deserved a second season. Ratings are low. This Superman looks really bad and I thought we moved past dumbing down DC's main trinity characters for television.
I wish they kept the Trinity forbidden for the TV shows. they always make it corny because of their lower budget.

I have seen thousands of better cosplays that look better than any of the suits The CW has.

Nope. Nope. Either have him with a trunk or no trunk WITHOUT a belt. Superman with belt of any kind is goofy on many levels. Also, I don't like the cape's shoulder placement --WTF is that? The boot should have been a simple thing, this one looked like a pair of jack boot.

Otherwise, I like the colour, the shield and the materials.

This is why I don't want any of the main heroes on the TV --their suit will likely look too goofy. Only the Supergirl's suit look the best out of alll TV suits.

Btw, on closer look --it seems to me that the suit constricted his bulk & muscle since he's supposedly a bit bigger chap.
