If they ever do have Venom in a movie again they should get him to say "my spider sense is tingling, if you know what I mean". That was the only good thing about Venom in that movie.

I'm without a doubt the minority her. But I liked SM3's Venom. There were only two things wong for me. He should've been bigger and he shouln't have died so soon.

My pick for Cletus Kasady has to be Finn Wittrock from American Horror Story Season 4. The guy was incredible as the spoiled rich kid sociopath. He would kill the role, and be a cheap find.

I actually love this pick for a younger Cletus kassidy.


My favorite pick Michael C Hall, obviously he's the spitting image of CK and played a "heroic" socio/psychopathic killer. I'd love to see him play a straight maniacal character like carnage. His soft voice would also come off very creepily if used in the correct manner.

If Venom/Eddie Brock, was to be in the film, wouldn't he have to be the same age as Peter, meaning that the actor would have to be in the age range of 15-20? Guys like Jensen Ackles and Tom Hardy are twenty years older than that.

That would be pretty cool. I really hope they start of with Eddie Brock though and have him face off vs Carnage, after he goes after Spiderman of course. A live action adaption of "The Alien Costume" would be perfect (at least IMO it would be). I would really like to see that.

I feel like not using Brock first would make things messier than they can handle. It would put them in a weird position with only Thompson to work with. Agent Venom would be really weird now since they're trying to reboot Spidey as a high school student, so Thompson would be around his age unless they're going to try and make him into a young secret agent. If they were to go for an anti hero route they've always got "Lethal Protector" Venom, I guess. Now that Marvel and Sony are working together, it would be great if Spider-Man finds the symbiote in Infinity War, then wears it throughout Spider-Man: The Alien Costume. Spidey begins having problems with the new suit and in the end gives it up, only to reveal that it attaches itself to Brock in a credit scene.

Im guessing this has been said before, but this just came to me so I thought I'd throw it out there. Infinity War movies could substitue for Secret War, tht is a cosmic event where Spiderman finds the symbiote. Maybe it would too early, but it seems like an opportunity to embrace

I think they should go 616 and make him a full adult. I guess i wouldnt mind of they went Ultimate, with a dark angsty younger Brock. But I really want Alan Ritchison to play 616 Brock in a spiderman movie and then in the first 2 venom movies if it becomes a franchise, with the third having flash take over.

When done right, Venom is one of the best villains/anti-heroes in Spider-Man's mythos. Raimi and Co. royally screwed up when making SM3, partially due to Raimi's unfamiliarity with the character, so it's understandable that fans would want to see Marvel Studios give him another go and do him right.

Besides I want to see Peter in the actual Symbiote costume. It's the best costume he ever had...

If a "franchise killer" can draw $890 million, enough to be the highest-grossing Spider-Man film ever, despite being executed terribly to a percent of his actual potential, then give me more franchise killers!

It would be cool to see the symbiote introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or Infinity War. Like have it attach itself to a spaceship and travel back to earth or something. It seems like a good opportunity to utilize the shared universe and introduce the Venom storyline.

I remember years ago my older brother got me the Spider-Man vs Venom trade paperback, the one by Todd McFarlane. It was that moment when my passion for comic-books took hold and I became a Spidey fan. Venom is one of my favorite villains, so I'd be happy if he was in one of the new movies at least. I like Spider-Man 3, but it could have been handled differently. As for the other symbiotes, I'm indifferent to them.

for me it likely be awhile to we do symboites. Plus i said it before if we where to do symboite in either of the infinity wars films it would count really on if the earth heroes go into space and take fight to thanos there. If they go to space then yes bring in the symboite and something peter stumbled across while in space. If they are on earth the whole time. I doubt we get symboite there.

Oh I definitely think we wont be seeing the black suit saga for a long time, I doubt they will be retreading the same old grounds so soon. We'll most likely be seeing villains who haven't been featured in any of the previous films with the exception of one or two. But what do I know?
