They aren't moot though, as that universe that we're used to for Star Trek is still going. He just essentially started his own universe to play around in.

Eomer!...The guy who played Bones McCoy was spot on, it was like watching a young Deforest Kelly.

I've seen Star Trek twice so far (which of course means I LOVED the film). I'll probably see it a couple more times for good measure. Waiting for the DVD will be difficultIts a shame Abrams didn't get to do Superman, somehow I think if he had we would have gotten a much better supes movie. Perhaps after WB sees his excellent work with Star Trek they'll give him another shot at it.

OH, this is WAY cool...
Look at the concept art for Kandor that this guy did for Entity:

They even have a quicktime movie of the final comp of the shots.
Terrific.
this has been bothering me for some time:
QUESTION: Can anyone identify the "Red Hot Chilli Peppers" song used in Season 2, the episode where Dr. Bryce's ex boyfriend comes back to stalk her. When he goes back to his motel room and smashes his face against the glass (to frame Lex) there's a RHCP song playing in the background. What is it?
It was "Don't Forget Me"
