The thing that really annoys me with this whole

is that really, cant the writers invent some new Characters? No one even bothers anymore.. Xorn was of the only decent new characters weve had for ages. Few other new characters have had enough put in to them to care about them at all. With Whedons skills im sure he could invent a brand new X-Man/woman that will be a fan favourtie in the years to come.

See, I'm torn on that. I always think that there are so many other characters out there to choose from why make a new one? But then if a new character can be introduced who is original and interesting enough to grap your attention then I guess it's cool. Xorn was a great example of this. From his first appearance on he became my favorate member of the New X-Men. I was upset to learn he had never really been a real person and am excited to see his return over in X-Men. I hope it's handled well and with the hint we got that he is actually Xorn's brother could work.

This thing's always open as far as I'm concerned. And I assumed we had same taste as everywhere I look to post there you are! So what are your opinions on some of the X-Stuff right now?

well I like the way they've gone with Reloaded, Prof X has let his children take flight and now stand for themselves and their own beliefs. I enjoy Astonishing and Cyclop's little description of the team was great. "Kitty's their PR person. Wolvies an animal, Emma's a former criminal, beast is just that, and I haven't looked a man in the eyes since i was 12 (or whatever age)." I'm still confused on the Mags situation but i like that he's not dead. He is my favorite character out of the series and I enjoy him not cold, rotting and in the ground. In Ex, Xaviers been given a pair and has gone back to his roots in the army but not forgetting his goal of world peace. Ultimates is awsome with the bringing of THE AGE OF APOCALYPSE! Have read a few Academey X, they were ok. Like X-Men and Havok's team. Confused with Wolvie being the new Multiple Man. Juggernaut as a good guy and the tension with him and Bobby is funny as hell. The Fury rocked as a Cap Brit bad guy and rocks even harder as a X-Men bad guy. District X is awsome. Funny that Lockheed saved Cyc's team after getting their asses handed to them by Ord, of Breakworld or where ever, think he's gonna be apoc and shadow king wrapped into one big evil self worshiping badguy. NYX has taken to the darker side of mutant life and i enjoy reading about Wolvies teenage prostitute clone. if i left any one out fill in. over all feelings of Reloaded 8.5/10

oh yeah, i also enjoy the re-release of Unlimated X-men, I have been waiting for them to bring that back

I absolutely love that Xavier's left his students to run the dream. Cyclops running the academy is something I've wanted to see for a long time and only got a glimpse of after Onslaught. I'm not much on him being with Emma but it could grow on me. I just love the layout of the books right now.

1) Scott and Emma are running the school as is shown in Academy X: New X-Men, but they're still getting action in Astonishing trying to improve PR as heros.

2) We see the student body's reactions to how the school is being run in Academy X and their opinions on their teachers, like we saw in the early days of Xavier's first class.

3) We have those who are not as "Kid friendly" working the more secretive missions the X-Men are bound to confront over in X-Men.

4) And we have the Uncanny team who are working with the law instead of against it showing that the school isn't just a school anymore but is also still fighting for the dream of co-existence between man and mutant.

5) In Excalibur we see Xavier is still active in his dream and teaching those who have lost hope. Fighting for the dream where the X-Men are not.

6) Then we have Weapon X and X-Men Unlimited showcasing the secondary characters that have no place in the Mansion. Though I hate that Weapon X is being canceled.

I do agree though that they need to cut Wolverine somewhere. My opinion is that though he works will with the team and has been great in the book, he really doesn't work in Astonishing as they are trying to be Heros and getting in well with the people, but Wolverine is a killer and not very PRable. Then also take him out of X-Men as he isn't really needed there and the team assembled can do well enough as they are. Keep him in Uncanny and his own title, and Weapon X as long as possible being that it is his very roots it makes sense him being there.

well i think he belongs with astonishing more than the others, it's a whole "heroic person under the animalistic behavior" kind of thing. And hey, even with Emma, Cycs and Beast, that's still not a lot of offense.

Wolvie-"I ain't doin anything that don't have the word beer in it"
Beast-" Well you could fight for beer"

I loved the Beast/Wolverine fight. I hope it carries through one day and Beast wins.

It isn't that I don't like Wolvie, I like him a lot really, I just wish they'd play up other people and stop over using him.

Astonishing is IMO the perfect X-book. The little character moments are spot on, the art is perfect and the story entertains me. I enjoy that the team is kept down too. Cyclops, Emma, Kitty, Beast and Wolverine make for the best character moments. I was cracking up during the Wolverine/Cyclops fight and I got chill when reading the Kitty/Emma Conversation in AXM #2. PLEASE JOSS, DON'T LEAVE!!!!

I'm finally back! I;ve even caught up on all the posts i've missed in the few months I was gone! Keep me posted on the x-books.
I'm so happy! I found Astonishing 1, and 2, Academy X 1, and 2, and a new uncanny and the last extreme the other day. My first 'new' comics in forever! Aren't u guys proud of me?
