Arrow The Thea Queen/ Willa Holland thread

The scene in season 2.5 comic is a
Vertigo induced hallucination

Well Oliver didn't see it coming either. Do you remember what Diggle and Felicity thought about it? (I don't)

Yeah well the writers have turned Oliver into an idiot this season, and apparently forgot all of the character growth that he's gone through. Malcolm's who overly-convoluted mess of a "plan" doesn't work if Oliver has even half of a brain-cell in his head.

They've also really made Thea seem stupid this season as well.

How current is this pic? The sleeve on the Arrow costume looks different.

Maybe we are getting a costume upgrade for when Ollie returns.

2 weeks ago from her Instagram.

Oliver lost most of his IQ when they brought Felicity in. Initially he was a genius who could hack bank accounts with an arrow. Remember episode 1? A few eps later he was largely brainless.

If I was Oliver, I would have knocked Malcolm out cold, ripped his tongue out and brought to Ras and say he killed Sara, with no tongue, Malcolm wouldn't be able to deny the accusation.

Frankly I liked Oliver most in season 1 when he was killing criminals, putting the fear of god into them.

The three episodes following Oliver's seeming death "are among the best we've ever done. They're incredibly compelling," EP Marc Guggenheim promises. The fallout at home not only "makes it necessary" for Laurel to don the Canary costume, but also brings together characters that previously haven't shared a lot of screentime. "There's a lot of Thea and Felicity," and "[Felicity will] have some pretty big moments with Laurel as well." Diggle gets "emotional" in the first hour back, shares David Ramsey, who also hints that the H.I.V.E. storyline will be revisited. Viewers also haven't seen the last of another elite group. "We're definitely going to bring back the Suicide Squad," EP Andrew Kreisberg confirms. And though Sara's killer has been unmasked, Sin will play "a pivotal part" in that storyline in Episode 12, while Sara (Caity Lotz) and Vertigo (Peter Stormare) both appear in Episode 13. Not to be outdone, big bad Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) returns the following week.

Or Hell just shoot Malcolm in the leg and leave him for the cops back in the Nyssa episode, or let Nyssa take him (I'm still not letting the astounding stupidity of Oliver doing NOTHING to stop Malcolm there go). That way, ALL of this could have been avoided. Come to think of it, Oliver is partially responsible for anyone and everyone that the LOA kills during their pursuit of Malcolm.

Also, "Thea was mind-controlled" is a really lame "twist."

Agreed, lame twist and one most saw coming as soon as Sara was killed. They should have had the killer be either Ras or Talia instead.

I think out of all of the characters in Season 3, Thea would rank at the top of being the person that has been "mishandled" the most.

I was really expecting some big changes to both her personality and the way that she'd be used, but aside from being chummy with Merlin, she really isn't all that different from the Thea that we saw last season.

Heck, her fight scene with Oliver was laughable and she has completely failed to establish herself as someone that would be remotely intimidating for someone that can now supposedly fight.

I mean was having her own a nightclub again and having a fling with an even more unlikable DJ the best that they could come up with?

And don't get me started with her being used as the tool that killed off Sara. Talk about a anti-climactic death for who was such a kickass warrior.

That seems to be a trend on this show; all of the kick ass female warriors that were on the good side all went down in such a anticlimactic way. Shado was shot from the back of her head, execution style....and Sara was killed by a brainwashed Thea.

The only female character that's died on this show, that wasn't a villain, who had a great and emotional death scene from start to finish was Moira.

LOL that fight scene was soooooo lame. I can't believe they actually thought that looked convincing. I've seen better stage combat in high school plays.
