Arrow The Thea Queen/ Willa Holland thread

That's great that she's involved. Either they need all hands on deck, or after the other archer girl whose character name I can't remember went off with Prometheus they decided to bring Speedy back onto the team. Are all the new recruits going to be part of the crossover too like Ragman, Wild Dog and Mr Terrific? I feel it will be a bit too Arrow heavy if they are.

Also, is that Atom behind Supergirl and Speedy? Did he get a new suit?

Well, it makes sense. She doesn't want to be involved with Ollie's vigilante activities because he's too bloody for her needs ( she kind of has to stay on the wagon, murderwise ). An alien invasion, by contrast, is a lot less morally ambiguous, and a lot more threatening.

That said, I'm really hoping Ragman shows up. He's awesome, his nigh-invulnerability would help against the aliens, and I want to see him interact with the other moral paragon heroes.

You'd have to wonder after a while though why other characters like Jay Garrick Flash, Earth 2 Harrison Wells or Jessie Quick don't also show up to help. And why Flash doesn't also recruit Martian Manhunter and Superman (or why Kara doesn't suggest they should come too).

Well, maybe now that Jessie is a speedster, maybe she's helping protect Earth 2. Same with J'onn and Clark not being there so they can protect National City. I would guess, like Civil War and Thunderbolt Ross asking about Thor and Banner, there may be a throwaway line about why certain characters aren't there.

It would be a bit of an imposition to drain away all the big heroes of several other Earths "just" to help save one. That said, I would hope they include some comment on why they didn't try and get help from at least Jesse and Jay.

I wonder if Supergirl is going to inspire Thea to suit up. There must be some girl power in this crossover.

Barry never met Superman or Martian Manhunter though so he might not even know they exist. And Supergirl tends to be bad about getting help, thinking she can handle things all on her own until she can't.
So most likely when Barry came to her for help she said lets go! without even bothering to think about bringing them along too.

This weekend, at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, the cast of Arrow was there for a panel and actress Willa Holland, who plays Thea, was asked whether or not we’d see her suit back up as Speedy and rejoin the team.

“Yeah, I definitely do! I miss that leather outfit a lot. I miss being in the Arrowcave. I miss shooting on set all the time!”

This past week, over sixty six new images from the four-show crossover–Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow—were released and Thea is seen in her Speedy costume. So we won’t have to wait very long to see her back in action and helping Team Arrow in their endeavors against the highly advanced alien attack.

“The crossover photos have leaked out….You see that I put my costume back on after 8 episodes of not wearing it. I have a feeling she’s going to be periodically putting it back on whenever it’s necessary.”

I was wondering why Willa wasn't in the last 3 eps, I know they gave a storyline reason why Thea wasn't around but It seemed off to not have a main character involved, strange that Willa is only contracted for 14 of the 23 episodes, I thought contracts just covered entire seasons for the main cast of shows.
